The success philosophy through books

Hello All,

These ten books are in my opinion are insightful to allowing one to be in the right mindset for being efficient, effective, a believer in oneself and having a never quit attitude.

They are:
1.) Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
2.) As A Man Thinketh by James Allen
3.) The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
4.) The Power of The Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy
5.) Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy
6.) Focal Point by Brian Tracy
7.) The Psychology of Winning by Denis Waitley
8.) The True Believer by Eric Hoffer
9.) Power vs. Force by David Hawkins
10.) The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson

I would love to hear other peoples feedback to what their success philosophy through books are? If you have a top ten as well, etc...

I hope you take the time to read all of these at some point.

To everyone's success,

Dan

    • I like them all. But the first two are legendary. I read "Think and Grow Rich" a long time ago but don't know what happen to it. I downloaded it again a few days ago because its good to read over these books again. They give me so much inspiration and knowledge.

Has anyone checked out "The Success Principles" by Jack Canfield? How was it? Surprised it didn't make this list.

Nice list and as they say one time reading is not enough and in order to internalize the message we need to read them more times. In my opinion books start to effect our daily acts when our mind says us to do those things which keep us off the desired goal and at the same time a quote or a message from any of those success books comes as a hunch to tell us to do only those things which makes us closer to our goals. Interestingly, both messages are processed by our mysterious brain.

    Hmm...

2 books I'd like to add in(I'm not a fan of books all the time...I like courses where I can engage)

    1. Psycho Cybernetics

    2. The 4 Hour Workweek.

    ...

I believe ENERGY EFFICIENCY is the most ignored ingredient to success so I'll just share a few products geared towards it...if you're interested... only pick one ; )

I'm going to have to say anything with The Daili Lama is really incredible for happiness..

Why is this important for success philosophy?

Well...this sounds kinda weird and hippyish but think about it...if we're unhappy we're conflicting and we loose all of our energy and we're left drained at the end of the day.

But if we shift a focus on being happy and we have a flow instead of a grind...things will be much better.

    1. Zero-Resistance Living....psycho cybernetics 12 week course...this is incredible. I haven't gone through all of this yet but I can guarantee it's a winner...this product alone has changed my life and I'm only one month through...

    2. subconscious-secrets(dot)com....I feel this is huge in restructuring your mind for success...I really like this program and it's wicked cheap.

    3. Longevity Now Program by David Wolfe....yeah. Eating healthy gives us a bunch of energy.

    4. Effortless Success by Jack Cranfield...this is an incredible product.

Honestly...that's it for me...I'm just giving a more unconventional look just in case the standard way of success philosophy isn't working for someone.

  • I really like Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl although it is not a typical self help book. Nonetheless, it will help you do more in your life.

I'm not sure about Think and Grow Rich, it's pretty dated. I prefer The Answer.

That 4 hour work week book is good, especially the bits about outsourcing.

Awesome list Dan. #1, #2 and #4 are personal favorites.

Throw in "The Science Of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles. Bob Proctor uses it as a basis for most of his programs. A great book that must be read over, and over, and over if you want to get anything out of it. You can finish it in a day but to become rich you must practice the principles over a longer period. Well worth it though

    Uhh...wow.

And the Law of Success by Napoleon Hill..duh! I can't believe I left that out...I wasn't a fan of one aspect of the entire book and it's my pet peeve...

Law of Success is all about money and focuses on nothing else but the accumulation of money in a morally good way...but it makes it feel like success is full of hard and boring work...don't get me wrong you have to "work"...I just feel it's just as important to have fun with what you're doing...on that score LoS gets an F. Success gets an A though.

If that's what you're into right now....GET IT!! It's amazing.
