What project manager do you use?

Hi guys and gals,

I've always wanted a decent project management system to keep track of all my projects, tasks etc - on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

But I've yet to find one that's any good (most are too complicated, hard work, don't allow you to track and check things off easily).

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Nick

I went from overly detailed to overly simple...from paper to electronic...etc.

What I wound up with is an RTF file that I just keep updating. It's called today.rtf. It's fast and I just review it daily.

    That's it.

hmm, that might be a bit too simplistic for me.

    I basically want this:

    - Enter projects
    - Enter related tasks/goals
    - Calender/reminder

Nothing fancy - just a way to keep track of all the different tasks and projects I have going on. I can't believe how hard it is to find something like this.

Right now I just use a google docs spreadsheet as my requirements are very simple.

I just started using Factory Nova, so far it is just what I need. Keeps me organized and I can create users (freelancers) and assign them jobs to do along with adding what it pays.

It can be a bit confusing, that is only downside so far i see about it.

There is a lot of options in this regard, but personally I prefer simplicity. The best app out there right now I use to manage projects is a not-so-well-known program called myBase. Prior to using it, I was using Microsoft OneNote.

These two programs are not too big on dynamic features like calendar or reminders - but as far as managing project information you wont' find anything better than a big white blank area for typing in notes. The big advantage with myBase is in it's nested tree navigation structure.
