Interesting Observation About The Mind Warrior Vs Other Forums

I find it interesting that the traffic on Mind Warrior is significantly lower than the other forums, yet when I check out the main marketing forum it seems to be dominated by a "can't do" attitude, or general negativity.

This site is focused on internet marketing, hence the popularity of the main forum. If more members would stop by here and get clear on a lot of their issues the whole Warrior experience would be improved. Problems would be solved more quickly as harmonious relationships breed harmonious interactions.

Most seek the practical tools without knowing how to properly use them: backing their actions with a strong desire to achieve, belief in their abilities and persistence in practicing their daily tasks.

Start with honing your mental tools and everything else will fall into place.

I am actually contemplating a slow move from teaching internet marketing towards personal dev for that very reason. I realized that no matter how good the system if people dont have the correct "personal stuff" in order then they will find success not.

I think the personal development is a core foundation that must first be approached. After that is settled, teh monies will come.

Very true, Greg. A lot of IMers neglect the inner game aspect. Take
care of your inner world and your outer world would follow.

      Great post, Greg.

From talking to a lot of people -- I've seen one thing is common in those who don't get to their full potential: they lack that mindset. They should be visiting these areas more frequently.

You guys have it spot on. More people need the successful mindset. The "work" details are monkey work compared to the mental game that is required here. My site successfulupstart talks all about it as I try to help people get into the mindset and truthfully find that success. Link is in my signature if you are interested. Let me know what you think

That can't do attitude and negativity is all over every forum. And I hate it. Its just weak marketers trying to make themselves look bigger by putting down others.

Lost people looking down a dark path with no flashlight. If only they knew where the on button was. A universal on switch would make sense, don't you think?

I have noticed that too. The Mind Warriors always give motivating advice, and point in the right direction. Most of the other forums I've visited have people dogging methods, and talking about how bad other opinions are.

They usually give good advice, but with a negative attitude.

I have a question, if y'all could help me out. I got a very nasty email last night from someone for mentioning the company I work for in a thread. Now I'm new to this site, but from what I read in the forum rules, it's ok to post information about a company if you work for it and its not an affiliate site. Someone asked a question about getting help with their email campaign, and the company I work for can help him with it. Should I just never mention the company I work for, or are there acceptable situations?

I certainly don't want to break the rules or piss anyone off, so if I could get some advice I would really appreciate it.

Yes mindset is really important. I'm writing a WSO, and I will be including a mindset section, as I think it's more important than the other stuff I'll be writing about!
