How Did You Choose Your Career?

Do you believe in the idea of career? That you have to work in a certain field and achieve excellence? If yes, how did you choose your own career?

I think life will be boring if you only focuses on one field. I choose to learn about everything I am interested in, and it really is a wonderful journey!

Honestly, I think career = rat race, and that is something I want to steer well away from!

I think a career is what you make of it. Many people do associated career with rat race, and I understand that completely. However, if you really want to make a better life for yourself with this "online thing" you do have to treat it as a business, and not just a hobby.

That being said, I chose my career because I didn't want to take any of the traditional routes to financial freedom, yet I did want a path that would give me the ability to prosper financially.

I found internet marketing, and while I did get a college degree, I worked way harder on honing my internet marketing skills

It is the best thing (business/career wise) that has ever happened to me. Never let anyone tell you that you cannot do it, because just like anything else internet marketing is a skill set that can be learned!

But you can always learn somthing new in every domain of life. Ok, life will be boring if you focuse on one thing. But if you focuse on 100 things, won't you eventually waste your energy and never get to know very well and in depth something?

Agent Smith came and told me if I helped him betray Neo that I could come back as whatever I want.

I said "world class fighter" but I guess all he heard was "mediocre writer"
