Do you believe it is possible to choose to be successful?

If you think about it, everything you do every day is the result of a choice that you have made earlier. Because of that, every outcome you reach is a result of choices you have made in the past.

Based on the choices you make, you can ultimately control the outcome of your life, so we can say that it is possible to choose to be successful.

Do you believe this to be true?

Both success and failure are options.

By not taking action you automatically choose failure.

When you do take action, you have to get everything in your circle of influence lined into the same direction. When you fail to do that, you won't achieve the best possible outcome.

    Certainly.

Every thought is a choice, every feeling is a choice. We have the power to choose our thoughts which elicit feelings which move us into action. These actions bring results.

Become aware of your thoughts so that you can choose the proper ideas which lead to goal-achieving activities.

My site is all about the choice to be successful. Finding it in the mindset, and putting it into action to get the results you are looking for.

Great question with an answer that people don't fully consider in my opinion.

Failure is a choice, but to me it is NOT an option!

Unknown, I like that a lot. I think this concept is essential in success. You can literally choose the life you want based on the choices you make along the way, it's so simple but so so powerful.

Ah! Very exciting topic. This kind of thought leads to what I like to outline as the Law of Attraction. This is a huge topic in itself and I recommend that anyone interested check out the movie, "The Secret".

Here is a link to the official trailer

Simply put, by envisioning yourself living the successes that you wish to have, you attract everything you require to make that success a reality. The act of envisioning is powerful enough that the universe itself will begin to change in order to fit your strong desire.

Now honestly, the above sounds a bit far-fetched. However, when you think about the fact that humans use on average 5% of our brain power it doesn't seem so crazy after all. Einstein used around 10-14% of his brain power and we hail him as one of the greatest minds of our entire civilization.

In the end, what I am trying to say is that making that choice to have a certain success has a huge impact on the end result. We are entirely in control of our futures.

I personally believe strongly in what the movie "The Secret" reveals. And even if it isn't true, who cares? At the end of the day all that matters is if you are happy about the things you have done in that day. I find that I get a lot done every day to ensure my success in the future, and I feel happy about it.

All of the above works great for me. What about all of you?

    Kris,

I think the secret is definitely a theory that works or is true, however I think a lot of people misunderstand it, just from watching the movie. The law of attraction works, but you can't sit on a couch and eat potato chips all day and dream about six-pack abs, and expect them to magically show up.

The law of attraction works based on the action you take towards your goals, or the choices you make due to how focused on your goals you become by using the law of attraction.

Right, thought without action will not get one to his or her goals. But that concept of dreaming is never to be underestimated.

When I spend a couple hours just lying in bed thinking about the things I want, by the time I get up I am so psyched I get a huge amount of progress done in very little time. Explosive action.

But again, thought without action gets nothing done. But I do believe in the end, if ANYONE spent just an hour a day thinking about the things they want, it is hard to NOT follow up with action towards that goal. I think that is just how humans are. We want things, and for some it may take awhile, but we chase after the things we want - but everyone eventually does it.

    Agreed with that bm120.

Attracting things can be done without any physical effort but 99.99% of us have to move into action. Virtually every person holds loads of limiting beliefs which must be released and moving into inspired action is one way to obliterate these false ideas.

Hell yes thats true. You can choose to be whatever you want to be.

Everybody is self-made... but only the successful will admit it.

There is a saying that the safest way not to make mistake is to do nothing. And that is the biggest mistake of all.

Sometime I spend a lot of time and effort and I don't get result. And I got tired and stop doing it. It's like contacting 100 prospects to get 1 interested. And it takes 10 interested prospects to get 1 sale. It's so daunting.

But if I am hungry enough for success, I must be willing to keep working until I get the sale.

Focus on adopting the mindset that failure is impossible. Each supposed failure is a success when you learn to make it a success.

Look at your successes in the past. Did they come easily? Probably not. You had to work at it, you had to make multiple attempts to reach your goals and you picked up valuable lessons - in most cases failures - along the way. But you made it and were successful.
