Many people believes that the more money you get, the more work you will have to do or be doing. It is true that you cannot get money without working hard, these days we are discovering that working smart instead of working hard is the only recipe for more money in the bank. The question is very simple, are you working harder or smarter? The answer to that question may determine the level of your money in the bank.

Agreed! A person that works in a factory for 12 hours+ a day works hard. Working smarter is always the way to go! We're so lucky to be in the business we're in because of the fact that we can put a little work into something and it will continually make us money without us really having to do anything more. Not to mention the beauty of outsourcing!

Yes, how - or if - we use our mind power determines how we are compensated.

The thing about working long, hard hours for a salary is that you run out of time. You can only work 24-7, 365.

One creative idea can yield a fortune. In a split second you can become wealthier than most people on earth. It might take time and effort to harvest the idea but the time is well spent. While the salaried worker slaves away for 40 years you will be free. It's all based on the idea of working smart, not harder than the other guy.

Smart work or hard work - I think, the distinction is still ambiguous. Work is work and any idea needs hard or long hours of work so that it gets transformed into a salable product or service. Yeah, it's ok you can use smart technologies and experienced people to realize your idea at a sooner time but it will cost high. Well, in anyway, I'm not clear with your idea (because I'm confused with smart/hard work concept) of smart work leading to more money in the bank and hard work equivalent to No or Less money in the bank.

You need a smart idea followed by hard work, these two are not mutually excluded...

You are so right. A lot of people are willing to work hard. It is harder to work smart.

Working smart is the new black. It's been rewarding to be a part of this trend and to have the opportunity to work from home.

I'm glad you've all spotted "work smart".

I went to China last year. It's overrun with people. You get NOWHERE in China by working hard, because your neighbour will work as hard as you for $0.01 less a day.

So pretty much anyone in China with money has got it by being SMART.

I am now working smart in my blogging. Thanks to Google Analytics I now know that 20% of my stuff makes 80% of my income, so I am now churning out the 20% stuff and watching my traffic, AdSense and other stuff grow dramatically.
