What's Your Daily Routine?
Listening to your intuition is important. Sometimes you might want to tweak the routine or turn it upside down. In general it's wise to adhere to a strict regimen. This creates order in the mind and in your actions.
I wake up between 6 - 7 AM. I meditate for 30 minutes, perform affirmations for 30 minutes then sit to write a blog post or shoot a video.
I proceed to spend the majority of my day networking online. I use the Pomodoro Technique with a 45 minute / 15 minute split, meaning I work for 45 minutes and take a 15 minute break. It's worked well for me so far, my productivity has jumped with the increased break time and I feel less attached to my work. Being light about your work and day is one of the key elements of using the law of attraction to get what you want. It's being involved with your routine without being attached to it.
My workday consists of promoting myself and others on twitter and Facebook. I stay on these sites throughout the day. I stop by a few forums to place a post and respond to other postings. I publish 1 - 2 blog posts and visit fellow bloggers, leave comments and network. I visit forums and blogs every 2-3 hours.
During my 15 minute breaks I churn out a personal development video. I pull out the Flip Cam and discuss one of my inspirational quotes. So far I have about 35 on you tube. My goal is to shoot about 6 per day. Yesterday I nailed 10. For the remainder of my break I perform affirmations while going for a walk in the neighborhood.
At the end of my workday I meditate for another 30 minutes and go for a walk or play some basketball. I also toss in weight lifting on alternate days.
Before bed I read a personal development book for about an hour and perform affirmations before sleeping to recondition my subconscious mind. Never forget that the most important 10 minutes of your day is before going to bed. This is the window of windows to focus on because your conscious mind is submerged during sleep and whatever you repeat and feel to be true prior to bed-time will be accepted by your subconscious mind, which works on this idea for the 6-8 hours while you are sleeping.
How does your typical day unfold?
