Starting Over - Not Hard at All!!

There really is a scientific method you can use for starting over - and it based on such simple premises.

You know, we are all creatures of habit - and when we do something for more than 30 days, it becomes easier to continue doing it - than not to do it.

That being said, wouldn't it be easy (maybe easy is not the right word - but certainly possible) to throw out the bad habits.

When I was training salespeople many years ago, I always told them to erect a guard stand in their mind - with heavily armed guards - and to forcibly bar entry to those negative thoughts - e.g. I'm broke, I don't have enough friends, my career is not going anywhere, etc.

Once we have barred entry to our mind from those thoughts, we can begin to replace them with great positive affirmations - e.g. I do have plenty of money, I do have plenty of friends, My career is going to skyrocket, etc.

And you know what - those things will begin to happen!

More coming - - -

See ya!

I'm not sure which is harder, getting rid of the bad thoughts or replacing them with positive thoughts - I guess it depends on how en-grained the habit is...

    A sound affirmative strategy here.

Starting over is no different than to remain on your current course. Both are states of mind and the individual determines which is "Good" or "Bad", or doesn't judge at all.

I viewed getting let go from my last job as a blessing. Others viewed it as terrible. All in the eye of the beholder.
