I need to share one of my personal experience with you guys. Here's little background of me. I am a regular guy with lot of hunger for self improvement. I was too negative. Very very negative. I used to get stress easily.
Infact, i use to take so much stress, i got attacked by ulcers in mouth. I had seen lot of ups and down in my life and thats made me too negative. Not that, i am not cheerful personality, but i get disturbed and frustrated easily.
This affected my parents, my gf and some of my friends. Infact, some time i use to feel my head will explode. Whenever i use to do something new, thousands of thoughts explode my mind.
Than, i started reading all sort of self improvement books. I even saw lot of seminars. I seriously wanted to change my life. I was on brink of losing my gf, because of my frustration issues.
However, it was not easy. It was very very tough. All the self improvement books failed. All the motivational mp3s failed. After years of hardwork, i became more negative and frustrated.
Just a month back, i sat down and asked god "Is there any solution in world to bring some peace in my brain?" . I am sure it was genuine prayer, in just one week, my cousin forced me to join AOL course, which seriously transformed my life. So, whats Aol and whats so special about it.
AOL - Art of living
Art of living is 4 day course started by sri ravishankar (a spiritual guru).Its all 100% meditation , derived from ancient hindu meditation techniques and refined to use in modern days.
You can be 100% negative about world. About everything around you. The teacher who teach whole course wont utter a single word on positivity. He wont even tell you to change your mindset.
They will tell you to do some meditation. Simple meditation, you can lie down on floor and breath according to their specific way.
BOOM 45 MINUTES AND WHOLE LIFE CHANGED.
Seriously, after 45 minutes when i opened my eyes.
1) I had no thought. I was thoughtless. Can you imagine that?
2) Extremely positive. I had one deal going on which crashed that particular day. Still, i was smiling. I was all pleased. No stress whatsoever. This isnt me , i use to be headless chicked in panic situations.
3) My efficiency of work increased many folds. Its magic. Like if i start doing article writing. Thats it, no other thought will cross my mind.My 100% concentration would be in writing. If i get some cool idea midway, i write it down and continue my article writing.
4) It was like i am in total control. I can focus my brain in whatever work i want to do. My dad wanted me to join swimming classes for past 7 years. I was so reluctant to join swimming. On the next day of doing meditation.I joined swimming class. I was so happy to see my dad's smiling face.
5) I was so astonished. I was smiling all day. People asked me, you are so much smiling whats the reason. I said "nothing" and they couldnt believe me. It was like their meditation switched off my negative and sad thoughts.
6) Since then, i have checked meditation techniques 4 to 5 times. Lets say, i am in very very bad mood, cause something bad happened to me (like i lost money or had a fight with gf). I go to my room, close door and do meditation for 30 minutes.
I COME BACK WITH ALL SMILING FACE AND ALL ANGER, FRUSTRATION EVAPORATES. 100% POSITIVITY WITH HUGE AMOUNT OF ENERGY.
So, if you want to increase your efficiency, want to become a big big doer and love positive thoughts. Join art of living.
A simple 45 minutes session and one breathing exercise will transform your life. Even if you are 100% stubborn in your thoughts. I did entire meditation with extreme amount of negativity about whole stuff. I seriously thought art of living was bull **** and my cousin, a nut. But still i am changed man.
