Mission Statement - What is yours?

I was wondering who uses the technique of Mission Statements? and who finds it effective?

I personally find it very effective for myself. I make it a habit to read my mission statement to myself at least 3 times daily. It brings clarity to my values and whats most important each day. It keeps my priorities in order and reminds me of my vision for life. I have it printed out and carry it in my wallet with me.

So again, do you have a mission statement? Do you care to share it? Do you finding writing down or printing your mission statement to read helps out-loud helps you?

    Hey, how's it going?

    I live in St Pete and that's cool that a fellow IMer is around me.

    I am just getting started and I am doing this part-time for now (I would love for it to be my full-time job someday).

    As for your question, I don't have a mission statement yet, but I am starting to arrange a calendar to plan out and follow through on my goals.

    Such as:
    Week 1 create articles pertaining to the niche I am trying to rank for (either writing myself or outsourcing)
    Week 1a social bookmark my sites and so on and so forth..

    I think from just basic behavorial science methods that the more you visualize and see something (whether it's a mission statement or a goals for the week type of deal) it serves as motivation and purpose to complete or continue the task at hand-at least for me!

    Anyway, hope to interact and learn from each other, especially from a nearby internet marketer!

    Mission statements can be very personal, or not. Do you they work? I think it depends on if you really beleive in the mission (or goal if you please) that you set up. Mine is personal. It applies to no one but myself... It is what keeps me motivated and giving up.
