What song inspires you?

My favorite inspiring song of all time is "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. A few years ago, I was fired and happened to hear that song played again on the radio. Listening to it made me feel that I could also survive my circumstances. As it happened, I had two other jobs lined up, so losing one that I stopped caring about was inconsequential.

I believe the song you mean is "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey.

One of my favourites at the moment is "Empire State of Mind (Part II)" by Alicia Keys.

        YES! That's the one.

So awesome when they started singing it in the Losers

I don't have songs, but music that gets me going is stuff like AC/DC, Van Halen, etc. The Beatles and Beach Boys soothe the soul as well. I don't think today's music has the same effect. There are no generations or eras to current music. With ipods, online music, etc., there is just music.

His new song "I'm not Afraid" is good too

Different types of music inspires me, everything from rap to rock to country, just depends on the lyrics of the song.

But for some reason, Michael Jackson's songs seem to inspire me the most. My favorite one is "Unbreakable".

Maaannn there are so many inspiring songs out there but my personal favorite is "Standing Outside The Fire" by Garth Brooks and "The Dance" also by Garth Brooks. I believe you most definitely have to stand inside the fire to be successful. I don't think successful people think or act like what most people would call normal. You have to stir things up a bit.

Against all odds - phil collins
Reminds me of my sister as she lives in Australia
    and the part,
'there's nothing left here to remind me, just the memory of your face, just take a look at me now, well there's just an empty space'
    always reminds me of her.
the song can also be a reminder of a relationship, or a family member who has passed away.

There are so many areas to be inspired in that I have many.

But in narrowing it down to my Internet Marketing endeavors, I have two.

One is "Take This Job and Shove it" by Johnny Paycheck.

The other is Shania Twain's "Honey I'm Home" both, in reference to my old medical secretarial career that I walked away from and don't ever want to go back to.

    Ain't No Stopping us Now.

There've been so many things that have held us down
But now it looks like things are finally comin' around, yeah
I know we've got a long long way to go, yeah
    And where we'll end up
    I don't know
But we won't let nothing hold us back
    We gonna get ourselves together
We gonna polish up our act, yeah
And if you've ever been held down before
I know that you refuse to be held down any more, yeah yeah
    Don't you let nothing, nothing
    Nothing stand in your way
    And all we gonna do
I want you to listen, listen (That's right)
    To every word I say
Every word I say about it

    Ain't no stoppin' us now
    We're on the move
(You said it, we've got the groove)
    Ain't no stoppin' us now
    We've got the groove (Whoo-hoo-oo-oo Whoo-hoo-oo)
    Ain't no stoppin' us now
    We're on the move
