How To Become More Productive Than A Team Of N.A.S.A Scientists Leading Up To Launch Day By The Time You Read The Rest Of This Paragraph.....

Ok may be not quite, but you can get pretty close with some of these sure-fire, tried and tested productivity tips!

1. Work in isolation - cut out distractions, noise and time vampires. Time vampires are people or things that take away your time and focus from your core business..

2. Allocate time slots for your work schedule (1 or 2 hours is enough to be productive and not get worn out) - these are blocks of uninterrupted time

In this time you must set a focused money making task list to complete

3. Don't answer your phone, or check texts or voicemails

4. Don't check emails

5. Don't communicate with friends or family - tell them you are working solid for two hours on a very important project

6. Focus on doing your business stuff only! This means not doing unproductive tasks that don't make you money!

If you get interrupted in your work, it takes on average about 20 minutes to get back into your normal state of focus again.

7. Take 5 minute breaks every hour to relax your mind and do something completely unrelated to your business.

8. Working very early in the morning or very late at night may remove some of the daily distractions that get in the way of your work

9. Sometimes just going with the flow is better than not going at all. I find if I set myself too strict a routine, I end up getting flustered or annoyed that I am not keeping up with it. This can have a negative impact on productivity and you end up doing nothing at all!

Hope this helps!

  • I agree totally!
I've allocated my work time in the morning. When I wake up, I just start working before anything gets in the way. It's quiet time of the day and not likely to be distracted by calls or texts. Only enemy I have is myself. I don't open web browsers for personal things like emails until I've done my work. Lots of distractions tempted me at start, but it got easier as I repeated the routine.

You don't have to be perfect from the start, just try doing better today than yesterday. What's important thing is you do something. It does get easier if you repeat often enough.

These are some really awesome ideas! It is extremely hard to focus and turning off everything is best.. I say this as I'm on the Warrior Forum and supposed to be working

I love the time slot idea, it worked for me dude. setting 45minutes doing the thing you truly wanna do and focus on it. rest for 10 minutes and continue doing it for another 45min. and 30 minute after that. eat. to boost your energy.

Recognizing the value of the Franklin/Covey "Time Quadrants" is very helpful in staying focused on the task at hand (rather than, say, falling into a 20-minute lapse on Facebook). The difference between Importance and Urgency is crucial to a life of peace. "Urgencies" have a way of tricking us into thinking they're important or irresistible. It's a trick.
I always liked their question: Why do we always answer the phone, and yet we never manage to sit down and read the book we want to read? Answer: Because books don't RING.

one thing one of my professors told me that stuck with me is that common sense is not common. Although something may be obvious to you no one man is at the same place a study or understanding so observation is different for every individual. So with that understanding although the information provided in this thread is conference since to me it may not be for another.
