There are times that we have this great idea on our mind, but we don't know know how to put them to action. Can anyone share your thoughts about this?

Sometimes when I'm filled with too many ideas, I try to let them sit for a while. Write the idea down, and often after you sleep on it you'll get more perspective about how to go about putting it into action, or whether it's even worth following through on to begin with.

Write it down, then talk about it with whomever is your sounding board for marketing ideas. If you don't have one, get one. Find someone like minded, or build on a friendship you made here or somewhere else online.

Other than that, you just need to dive right in and try out new things.

    Good luck,

In my own experience. I will going to think it first, write down all the plan of action including the risk. Finalized then implementation. On that way you will going to far view the result even the plan was not yet implemented.

I agree about writing it down.

That's what many successful people have been doing and teaching based on my reading from their books. In fact, it really works for me when I do just that. Or else I'll be procrastinating my work and not getting focused on the things that I should be doing.

I turn the (business) ideas into (business) plans. I separate them into short-term, medium-term and long-term plans.

I start with the short-term considering my financial status or start-up capital.

I think this is a very good point. Even when we might not have time to do much, it makes me feel so much better even if I do something very small that I know will help move me closer to my goals.

TOOLS. That's the key, the bridge between Idea and (effective) Action.
Analogy: You need to fix your car. You badly want it working again. (Motivation)
You even have the owner's manual and instructions to fix it. (Knowledge)
But you still can't fix your car if you don't have a wrench! (Tools)
This forum is great for inspiring motivation and valuable knowledge. But my favorite posts are those that share our successful members' TOOLS.

First of all you have to prioritize on the main things and you have to plan others in the importance order. It will help you to give your attention to the current work in highest extent. As previously said writing down is the best way to do it.

I do some research to see how it would be implemented. I'll then contact some people to learn more, as well.

It takes full blast of courage to make ideas into actions. Maybe for of all us, it is one of the crucial things we do in our entire life. Second thoughts and fears is inevitable during this part, but if you are really aiming to get into something then you have to work for it and face all your fears.
