How to persuade any one ...even your wife !

by Gino Robin 10 replies
Hi,
In our everyday life we always..talk what we want...Isn't that selfish?
Of course you talk what interest you..and make you feel good...

How do you know ? Your partner is interested in your conversation...

We all human beings are interested what we want...

The only way to influence anyone on earth..is talk what your partner want...and show your partner how to get it !

A good example: A farmer and boy try to get a calf in a barn..but the calf stiffened his legs..and stubbornly refuse to move a foot further...

So the boy and farmer later give up.............Then they little daughter came and she thought what the calf wanted.......she simply put her finger ..in the calf's mouth and the calf gently suck her finger...as the calf suck..she easily lead him into the barn....

Thanks
Gino

I believe in moderation or what may be called balance. If you keep talking what your wife wants to hear, one day she will become bored or think that you are just faking the whole stuff.

In now-days we all see what we want too see and want all the best for us ... but it can't be always like that . People around us need to be heard .

There a difference between talking and to be a good listener....How do you feel someone else listen to you..certainly over-whelmed...

I agree totaly with you..we so self centred that..we forget..to listen what others needs are...
To use this effective technique in IM will surely ..build a huge trust relationship..and will make a major difference in your profits...

    Thanks All

The moment we begin to 'listen' to others rather than just hearing them , then the 'real' communication starts . Communication is a meaningful exchange of views only if both parties are 'listening' to each other...

      Hi Gino,

Yes, I been realising that many people tend to just like to speak continuously. They don't bother about your interest, but only theirs.

Even when you try to support their statements, they'll shoot you down b'cos, they assume they are always right. Selfish behavior.

The success in life is to practise mutual respect. A balance of listening and speaking when its the right time. Many mistake that, by always taking charge in a converstaion or being in the limelight - they are charismatic or have natural leadership.

      Thanks for sharing.

I resonate with the Listening piece of advice. It's easier to persuade someone when you make it clear that their voice has been heard. It promotes trust which is the beginning of a positive outcome for both parties.

When coercion or force enters the situation persuasion goes out the door, along with the trust. Nobody likes a one-sided conversation.
