Yep, you sound like a Marine lol.

Got a sister who served in the Marines (I've got 4 brothers and 3 sisters and out of the 8 of us, 6 of us have served or are serving in the military, so I have a lot of military stories) and she's got that same attitude...looks like all that telling you were "special" sunk in and y'all started believing it lol!

LMAO at the air farce...my brother is the only one who didn't go Army or Marines so he gets a lot of the same sh!t every time we get together.

@Swaggs - that had to be a tough job. We've helped them load those things before and everything has to be loaded just right.

@Drudge - what branch you in?

Love the idea of a military mastermind group simply because military guys (and gals) already know the power of teamwork and camaraderie. Honestly didn't realize there were this many military and ex-military marketers. Never met any in my years in service, just kind of figured I was walking a lonely road.

loading it wasn't the hard part...building the cargo on those pallets and tying that **** down from 5 am to 7pm 5 days a week was...

How's Hawaii? I've never been there but definitely want to check it out. It looks beautiful from all the pictures I've seen.

Your idea of a military mastermind sounds intriguing...brings to mind thoughts of Patton, except storming the Internet, not beachheads.

Hooah Stay safe over there...14 years in 8 of them active but now to broken to go downrange so medically discharged...first time around Crewed Hueys...15 year break in service then went in the Guard as a combat Engineer Combat Heavy...I love my big toys lol

The Air Force? I can't stand Air Force soldiers (j/k), if only because their branch looks out for them so well. Seriously, we're on an AF base right now and these guys have it all! Pool, basketball, theater, weightlifting, a movie server, wi-fi in the rooms...it's like a vacation, not a deployment.

Kudos to the Air Force for knowing how to make their guys feel taken care of...and all we need now is a Navy guy to form the four branches lol

man i wish i couldve been a boom...i just recently got out of the service 2 months ago but when i was in i loaded cargo on the aircrafts....i worked on the kc 135's everyday all...including all types of other planes...

To answer a few of the questions...

1. Is it okay if I am new to marketing?

Yes, that is okay. However it is important to realize this is a mastermind group not a coaching club.

It would be like putting a platoon into combat with nothing but a bunch of privates and PFCs. Without a solid group of NCOs there to share their experience, and lead -- we'd be as effective as the freakin' FRENCH Army!

I can't see myself as turning ANY vet or serviceman away, so what I will do is this...

I am going to set up a few groups. I will balance them out so we have a good representation of experience levels, that way we will be more effective and WE DON"T LEAVE ANYONE BEHIND. I know you will all agree with me on that.

2. Can I be on active duty?

If you are still active duty, you are more than welcome to join our group.

3. Do I have to be a vet, or currently serving?

For now, yes. I hope you understand. We are trying to take care of our own as we get organized. If a group is formed that wishes to take you as a member then that is their choice.

4. What is this mastermind group going to help with?

Traffic
Product creation
Outsourcing contacts (web designers, customer service, transcription, link building)
Blogging
Business building
Focusing your efforts!!!
Backend revenue streams
Advertising
List building
Merchant accounts
Best practices
SOPs (Standard operating procedures for you flyboys)
And much more...

@ Carl - it is indeed a task better off forgotten lol.

@ Ethan - Oh snap, got a Navy guy. Welcome to the only mastermind group with REAL combat experience. My cousin works on submarines, he's stationed out in Georgia right now but he did a stint up in Washington state. Something like 6 months under at a time...that's gotta be rough.

Got all four branches, now we just need someone to go find the Marine...he seems to be lost lol.

Not sure how the heck I missed this post but I'm definitely interested.

Considering that most of us have the potential to be direct competitors and SME's on anything military I'm not gonna discuss my specific niches at this point. (FYI my niches are Military related)

I have several specific military offers that I run and I'm making a killing with them. I have a plan would love to work with other Current and Former Military.

2. Everyone has been added to the work space (called a wave). RB, you will have to get a GMAIL account if you don't have one.

4. Attached you will find the proposed rules and an application that must be filled out and posted in the wave for everyone to read.
