Here's the Only Success Secret You'll Ever Need ...

If you've read anything about success then you know how important it is to have the right mindset to achieve it.

Now, what I'm going to reveal here is not about thinking positive, being optimistic, self motivation, etc. But rather it's about how you view life on the whole.

The biggest reason why people are afraid of taking action is because deep down they fear failure. But what if I told you there's a secret using which you'll never fail again? Here it is:

"Turn every experience into an experiment and you'll never fail again."

As simple as that! When you turn your actions into experiments you don't fail, but get feedback. You then work on this feedback to improve your future experiments and get better results. This will help you in more than one way:
  • Takes the burden of succeeding off you.
  • Gives you more room to think.
  • Makes the whole experience fun because of the anticipation.
  • Gives you an enhanced level of curiosity.
  • Changes your mindset from "What if it doesn't happen?" to "Let's see what happens!"
  • Helps you move out of your comfort zone.
  • Makes risk taking easy.

Go ahead and start implementing it today. Become a mad scientist, forget everything and go crazy with your IM experiment!

Congratulations on articulating so well, one of the key
approaches to success in business and life.

I'm a testing and tracking nut, and never know what will
work (or not work) in the marketplace.

So, I run a simple test.

I put up version A and version B and see which one wins.

I let the market decide and tell me the right answer.

    Dedicated to your success,

    Shaun

Thanks, sometimes running such simple tests can yield big results. After all, you can't leave everything on assumption. The more unchartered territories you go after, the bigger the adventure

I personally find it so true. If you wanna succeed in something, start by making alot of mistakes. By making mistakes, learn from them and don't repeat them again.
This is how albert einstein did it. People ask him how did he feel about his failure experiment, he simply replied, "It is not true, as I found out a thousand way which doesn't work for light bulb, but I only need to get one which works"

Way back when someone told me "If you don't make any mistakes you'll never learn."

In other words, the more mistakes you make, the more you learn.

So go ahead and make as many mistakes as you can.

This is actually at the core of most mindset books on success. NLP has a precept of "the meaning of your communication is the response you get" which is aimed at focusing on making you accountable for your results and the fact that if you want different results you need to take different actions.

The Edison example is often quoted in the there's no such thing as failure - only feedback context too.

I think a lot of people do take action and fear of failure is not their problem - but having a mindset of everything is feedback is still a good way to look at many situations.

But it's also important to remember the value of failure - otherwise you can keep doing things that don't work and telling yourself it's all feedback when actually you should stop and do something else.

This is a wonderful post and ever so true. When finding ways to works; one must realize it may be a different for each individual as we are all different and we have to get it own our own. Trying is not failure, it is learning,as you have so well put this and if we don't try; then we have failed. I love it!

Such profound wisdom from one so young! It is so true that if everybody took this attitude that what they are doing is an experiment, there would be a lot less fear, anxiety and inaction all around.

Better not let this nugget of wisdom get out to the general public or else all the Warriors in the self help/personal development niche will need to find a new niche!

      Thanks for the reminder!

You put what can be a vague concept into an excellent format!

I've heard before that 'any experience, as long as you learn from it, is positive'...

But yours is much more effective.

I also like the maxim: 'Ready, FIRE, aim'

meaning: get into action with what you can start with,
see what happens, then tweak it to improve the results.

Great way to approach this business or any others, but if you have failed, then these words that I took from a speech that JK Rowling (Harry Potter author) gave at Harvard on June 5, 2008 weigh true for me, and helped to read.

"The knowledge that you have emerged wiser and stronger from setbacks
means that you are, ever after, secure in your ability to survive.
You will never truly know yourself, or the strength of your relationships, until both have been tested by adversity. Such knowledge is a true gift, for all that it is
painfully won, and it has been worth more than any qualification I ever earned."
    - JK Rowling
The whole speech was quite a motivational piece for those about to leave college.

If you haven't emerged yet, go with what Mustafa wrote, and start to turn things around. Best wishes to all

    Hi Mustapha

Could not have said it better, and Napoleon Hill also said:

"Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit."

The real trick however, is to find the appropriate benefit sooner rather than later, whereas the vast majority of people when given a setback in any endeavour they set out to accomplish, will quit rather than "Going the extra mile and looking for the benefit"

Keep up the great work my friend
