Celebrate(even small) Progress in your business

well, I am back again from this years Focus Seminar in London UK.

This year I noticed a couple of very important issues, that I want to share with you.

The first issue I'll cover is about making progress in your business.

After this years seminar I came home with a great feeling - the great feeling of how much I had accomplished in one single year.

Last year, everything that was presented on stage was completely new to me.
Talk about total brain melt down, when I got on the plane back to Denmark.

This year I didn't have any problems what so ever to follow the tactics, the strategies and the tips, that was given from all the great speakers. And even better I got confirmed that, I am on the right path, and I have taken all the right steps to move my business forward. WOW what a cool feeling, that is.

This great feeling of my big progress, got even better when I talked to last years fellow marketers .

When I told them, that I had created "selling Scruffys", my very own product - they all applauded me, and I Got a lot of new contacts, to share ideas, spare, and do business with.

I know you read a lot of sales promotion, where big gurus talk about the morning they discovered a lot of money in their bank account, as the day it all happened to them.

Well, I am sure it is almost the same feeling as winning the lottery - and we can all imagine how great and fantastic a feeling that must be.
Well, I find it even more important to celebrate every little step you take towards your success on line. That will keep you on a realistic journey forward, and it will push you on wards.

If you always focus on "what You need to do" - it gets negative and you see it as a boring task - you need to do.
If you on the other hand challenge your self, maybe by saying " Now I will build a blog".
Then See this task "building a blog" like a challenge - just like when you buy a a new table from Ikea - You just start following the instructions, and some of them might not be clear, and you have to try a couple of times, or even ask for help, but you want that table collected, so you keep going .

Implement the same attitude, towards the steps, you need to take in your business, and you'll surprised what a change of mindsetting - can do for you.

Remember you promised yourself to take this challenge , so move on, ask again, move on, try again, and suddenly I got your self a blog.

Celebrate it, talk about it, show it - Be proud - you did well. Next challenge - build a website or Set up an auto responder or ........and so on. Also be realistic about the time it takes to accomplish a smooth running long term business. Rome wasn't built in one day Right

To Your Progress,

Celebrate your failures too, and what you've learned from them. Celebrate doors getting shut in your face and rude prospects. Celebrate helping others out while expecting nothing in return.

Great post... every day we learn something and even if it's little stuff, all that becomes big one day and is part of having the complete puzzle.

Thanks for positive threads like this--we all need them.

The idea behind this post is not that revolutionary. Having said that I am glad that you posted it. We all need to hear encouraging statements while building a business, especially in the early days.

In all seriousness, my mood improved just reading the title of this thread. That's how important and encouraging word is. Thanks for the post.
