  • I'm about half way through that list... each one that's on there that I've read I would easily recommend. I actually just finished #2 How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie, and blogged about it.

I'd say that list is an excellent cornerstone for anyone trying to increase the belief in themselves.

The best thing about that list is that it's diverse... it's not all just positive stuff and "thinking" material. I say you've got to balance out Acres of Diamonds with a little 7 Habits and vice-versa .

I disagree with a few of the books on the list as being the "Top" 25 books. I personally don't think Suze Orman or Joel Olsteen belong on that list.

I would have included "How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success" by Frank Bettger and "Psycho Cybernetics" by Dr. Maxwell Maltz instead.

Brilliant list of success books you have put together, and I think that David Schwartz's book "The Magic of Thinking Big" should be compulsory reading in every school in the land, as what that books teaches in such simple language, would inspire many more entrepreneurs to help get this world out of the mire that it currently finds itself in?

I just finished The Science of Getting Rich, and it definitely belongs on the list. All the books on the list are good though and I have a tendency for the older time tested books, but there really isn't anything new under the sun, apply the principles of any of them and success is at hand. I find that I really do need to read them and then re-read them again. To make that mental change has been difficult for me, so I need to read and read again and maybe again.

Great list - thank you for sharing! I've read most of the books on the list and agree that they are some super motivational works. I have many of these on audio and have listened to them in the car when travelling. My favorite audios include those by Tony Robbins and Brian Tracey, along with the works of Carnegie and Napoleon Hill. Loved Kiyosaki's books (have read the entire series) but he doesn't seem to come off that great on the audios for some reason.

Anyway, my car cd stopped working awhile back and though I've enjoyed the peace and quiet forgot how much of a motivational boost I've been missing. Guess it's time to get that fixed!

    all the best,
