Great post/subject!

Years ago, I stole (well, borrowed) a quote from Zig Ziglar to make my definition of success in my life, and around which I establish goals and plans.

Goes something like this - "If I lovingly and genuinely help enough other people get what they want, I'll get everything I want". If I help others feel important, if I strive to always find the good in others, if I give of myself without expecting anything in return . . . just makes life so meaningful.

Especially in these turbulent times, when so many people are feeling stress, worrying about the economy, their monthly bills, their jobs, et al, reaching out to help others feel good about their strengths, to help them appreciate the bountiful blessings and opportunities we all have . . . just adds to my own blessings.

Great quote....Zig is one of the best! I have studied his work for 10 years now! And was probably influenced a bit by him with this thread.

  Before I started to read this post, I was upset with someone. And I was upset that they were asking me to run an errand for them which I didn't want to do.
  
  By reading your post, I realize that I was just thinking aout myself and not the other person. I am no longer angry, but ashamed for how I acted.
