What is going to ignite your passion?

The weekend is finally here. Yepeeeee!!!! I had a question for all you warriors out there. I will be sure to post my answer in a few days. Here goes....

Internet marketing is a very interesting field of study. It's a craft that when a newbie puts in his time and patience, he/she may become very good at it. There are several reasons why I have choosen to ease on down the yellow brick road of internet marketing.

So here it is warriors, what is pushing you to try out this venture? Was this your last option to owning your own business? Could it be all the hype about making millions overnight? Do you have a family? Could it be that you feel that you and your family deserve a better quality of life? Are you looking for freedom? Freedom from the time clock, freedom from a boss, freedom from a salary ceiling that is placed on you when you work for someone else.

The reason why I ask this question is to get your head out of the clouds and focus on the why's and not the wealth. If you are fighting to accomplish something that has a sentimental value to you, you won't give up so easy and you will go that extra mile to make it work. I will post my answers later. I work third shift. It's 11:40 am, and Ijust got home from work and I AM TIRED!!!!!! I need to rest lol lol lol

There you have it. One of my reasons for pursuing this venture. The ability to set my own hours lol lol

Alright get to typing. I want to hear what everyone has to say. See you at the top!!!

Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to be a filmmaker. I started this IM journey about one year ago because I wanted to earn an extra income to afford a nice camera and audio/lighting equipment.

Nearly 11 months later my filmmaker dreams are on hold, as I have discovered that I really like internet marketing, maybe marketing as a whole is a better way to put it.

It has gotten to the point that I'm actually concerned that maybe I'm not meant to be a filmmaker, but someone who will market films... I've pondered this a lot the last few months. Anyway, when I first started I set myself a goal and then worked my ass off until I reached that goal.

I remember being so excited that I had made $10 a for a month. That was the goal, make some extra cash, free up my nine to five paycheck and go for the gusto. I woke up the next day determined to hit $20 a day.

Three months later and I can say that my first $600 month was mind blowing. Instead of buying film equipment though I scaled up and started more websites. It was at that point that I realized that while I am a creative person, business/marketing is my calling.

I still want to be a filmmaker someday, but I got a nice $20 it will involve me in a business producing role more than it will be a directing role. Sorry for the long speech, but if I can work my ass off and make it in the internet marketing industry so can anyone.

I hope you are rested from the third shift!

I think I do it because of the challenges. I like challenges. I like to deal with them and thus grow. I do not like to have too much pressure. When I think about something like a challenge, usually a larger growth occurs, then when I watch it as a necessity.

I believe you nailed in your op.

      Freedom.

We can come up with a lot of explanations, expressions or words for what we think we desire. But it all comes back to that.

      Freedom.

Okay I'm back at my JOB on third shift and I thought I would tell everyone some of the things that will ignite my passion.

        1) Opportunity. Never in history has there been a time where you can interact with people around the world at lightning speed. The chance to run an entire business with low start-up costs and have access to that business from anywhere in the world. Although there is a learning curve, the chance to gain so much knowledge in a non-traditional way.

        2) Freedom. The ability to set my own work hours. It can be 3:00 in the morning or 3 in the evening. It doesn't matter. I AM IN CONTROL!!!!

        3) Quality time with the family. Trying to survive in today's economy will normally require two full-time working adults. Most people spend more time with their co-workers than with their own families. I don't know about you, but I think that has a negative effect on family values.

        4) Peace of mind. Knowing that whatever accomplishments I achieve, it's based on my input and hard work, not some yearly review that my boss gives at the end of the year. Working third shift, I never see my boss. How can he really give me an unbiased review on my performance?

Build that passion warriors. Have a dream. Draw out a plan. Stay focused and never give up. See you at the top! (smile)

When you have a passion for something, you tend to give it your all. You give up many things. Are you willing to go the extra mile?

          See you at the top!

Having the freedom to work anywhere is the ultimate benefit. Working from the comfort of your own home. Working from a beachfront. Working from a coffee house. The possibilities are endless. As long as you have internet connection, you are in business.

I was always successful on paper, but a major financial underearner. I used to think the best I could do was make $12 an hour. When I got out of an abusive relationship I realized that I wanted time AND financial freedom. I had tasted it in the past by being self-employed, but I didn't treat it as a business. Now that I do, my life has changed in many ways. I think the key is believing you deserve financial and time prosperity.

    Peace,
    Stephanie
