"Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It's quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn't at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, So go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that's where you will find success."
- Thomas J. Watson

Best one there I believe... so true!

I have failed many many many many times, and have yet to see a HUGE success yet. I get spurts of little success, but nothing huge yet. It is only a matter of time before I hit big with my next idea or next plan.

    Like this one.

I’ve noticed that way too many people have jumped on the failure to succeed bandwagon. I feel if you focus too much on failure and not the overcoming of it and learning from it you’ll fail more than you succeed.

Definitely true. Having mistakes don't make me a lesser man but a normal and determined one. I remember when I was still in high school and it happened that I'm the representative of our school on a chess competition where we had a training together with other chess enthusiasts from grade schools. A certain grade school pupil approached me and told me that he wanted to play chess with me. I agree since he was very young and didn't look like a chess genius. And you surely know what happens next. It was embarrassing for that little boy defeated me. But looking back at what happened, I certainly learned so many things out from that experience. I learn to be humble and I learn not to be judgmental. What I see is not always what I get.

Thus, I definitely agree with this adage. Mistakes can hurt but it cannot kill but instead it can give us life once it gives us lesson.

--these two are my favorites. thank you for sharing MARTIN2010. this is actually a reminder that to be successful, you hae to work for it, not just wait for it. success comes from hardwork too. you cannot be successful just by hoping or dreaming or praying the entire day.
