WHAT WE SOW IS WHAT WE REAP
There is a basic principle that is at work in our human life. We may or we may not believe this but it is inescapable.
Inevitably, we will be rewarded by and for the good things we do and punished by and for the sins we commit.
Even if when there seems to be too much injustice around us or the world is apparently in disorder, time will come when each one will reap what he or she sows and justice will be served to everyone else.
This is a law at work in everyone whether we are aware of it or not and whether we accept or refuse it.
If we try to defy, challenge, resist or disregard this law, we suffer the consequence.
To avoid the law is an exercise of futility.
How can we avoid something which works from within us?
It is something we also see everywhere else, even in nature. It is just like the law of gravity, we may not be aware of it but it is happening long before it was discovered by Newton. We may not understand how gravity works but still apples will keep falling on the ground.
We may not believe that such a law govern the universe but nevertheless any object heavier than air under normal circumstances will still fall back to earth when thrown upward.
That is the law of sowing and planting; like gravity, it is universal and valid for all times and for all people.
Plant good seeds now and we will reap a harvest of good fruits either in the near or distant future. Avoid anything evil because its consequence is evil and it’s unavoidable.
