A Distinction that catapults people to success

I've always had a challenge with being accurate in terms of what's possible for me, that was until I started to realize what was really possible in the world. Ever heard the serenity prayer? It goes:

God grant me the serenity.
Wait, there is a second part? You sure about that?

You see, most people, (and I was a total suspect of this) say the first part of the prayer, and delete the entire second half. The courage to change the things you can shift in your life, is a massive power in itself, and the most important distinction in the world:

The wisdom to know the difference.

The truth is, who the heck knows what's possible? Why limit ourselves as to the possibilities of the world when we have no idea what's going to happen? I mean, yea, we can look at situations in the past and predict somewhat of the future, but how accurate is that really? Not really accurate at all.

I've found it incredibly useful to ERR on the side of achievement. Be unrealistic as to what's possible for you, because simply put (this is profound knowledge, easy but profound) if you're unrealistic in terms of your expectations, it gets you to do different things. If I plan to have 500 people at one of my seminars in 3 months time, then I'll actually bust my butt to get 500 people there. But if I went, "nah, I'll get 200 at best," I'd probably only get 150 people to come. What stops a lot of people is this thing called "realism," which is codeword for fear. Realism is the fastest path to mediocrity, and I think powerful folks like you KNOW THAT!

So, in summation ladies, gentlemen, fellow entrepreneurs and brothers and sisters, let's really explore the things we can influence, and ensure we understand the difference. We can influence more than we think, if we can learn to do the one thing that creates it all, influence ourselves. Talk soon!

P.S. I didn't read the rules (like I should have) when I first started posting on here, so I was posting a link to an ebook in the actual thread. MY BAD! I learned! Thanks for reading everyone, this post is dedicated to your true power.

I truly believe there are NO limits except those you impose upon yourself or ALLOW others to impose upon you. You set the limits.
