Do not be afraid to feel disappointed because other people do not appreciate your kindness.

Let us fear of disappointing God for avoiding behavior that makes us GOOD PEOPLE, who became REASON FOR GOD TO IMPROVE OUR sustenance.

The best man is useful for others, and the best payer is God.

Yeah, we shouldn't feel bad if others are so unkind to not appreciate the goodness and kindness that we show. There are a lot of not so good people in the world. There are a lot of cold-hearted individual. But that shouldn't stop us from continuing to do good and show kindness. If being unappreciative is their nature, don't be disappointed. As long as you're not doing anything for yourself at the expense of others. Continue to do good because the important thing is knowing that you are not hurting others, you are not stepping on others feelings.

Know what you mean. I lent a friend some money earlier this year without thinking twice about it. Then a few weeks later he came back asking for more because he and his partner wanted to rent a place for their business.

I tried to talk him out of it explaining that if they have to borrow money for the first month’s rent that it really wasn’t a good idea.

Well, I got blasted for being “the most negative person he knew” and a bunch of other insults.

I still don’t feel bad about trying to help, but it still hurts when those you try to help “slap you in the face”.

But looking back, it still feels good to be able to help when you can, even when it’s not appreciated.

I agree. People can be rude, and I can totally understand when people aren't having it. It doesn't change the fact that I'm a respectful person, I'll be respectful towards anyone.

Certain types of people are particularly prone to attract parasites. It is part of the path. (do you see a fluorescent arrow pointing to my avatar? you got it!)

And from certain moment and over to tell them to f@%&ck off is also part of the path.

What I have come to realize once I got to forth chakra is that many times what is going to help people get closest to their higher self, and what they think they need is different.

Our job, eventually, is to help their highest self, and sometimes the way to do it is by saying no to the ego side, and help them grow.

    Great post...

The truth is I'm a nice person and I get so much more from the good that gets taken away from the bad.

I've found incredible friendships and the people that are rude to me have most likely end up alone and miserable so why would we get caught up in their lives?

If you're yourself and you're a genuine person you'll go far in life no matter who you are.

If they are rude, then it reflects back on them! Remember that. What we give out we get back immediately!

So, we can just say something like,' they must be feeling really bad to be saying those things, poor person, they need a lot of love!' & let them on their way!!

We are feeling good, that is why we can help, share and give out love.. then it increases and we feel even better!

I agree. Some people are just being ill-mannered and disrespectful due to the fact that they have none while others have in abundance. Just don't mind them and their criticisms. Respect is the key.

very true...We have to do good things for our own satisfaction. If we expect all people to respect us for our good work it will only make us disappointed, because people vary by thoughts and they live in their own worlds so they might not even concern about what we did.

In truth all of us are good people but then also there is something inside us that can trigger those feeling that want to hurt others.

Most of us can control those feelings but there are some who can't. I love nothing better than helping other as it gives you great satisfaction and also helping others is what the bible teaches us.

Also having people around you who are willing to do anything for you is also fantastic as you know that whenever you get in a scrape that you can always call upon them. This is what we call life and long may it continue.

One thing i would say is for all those that have feeling of hurt and anger then there is always help on the horizon from all those who are willing to help which go back around to the circle of life.
