Napoleon Hill says in Think and Grow Rich:

THOUGHTS WHICH ARE MIXED WITH ANY OF THE FEELINGS OF EMOTIONS, CONSTITUTE A “MAGNETIC” FORCE WHICH ATTRACTS, FROM THE VIBRATIONS OF THE ETHER, OTHER SIMILAR, OR RELATED THOUGHTS.

This is called the Law of Attraction which is found in the book Secrets and many other places. Is this something mystical or scientific?

Just like the experiment of light will yield the result of waves or particles depending on what the observer is looking for the same can be said for the Law of Attraction.

Thos that look for the Mystical result will find support for that belief. They will believe that it is God, the Creator, the Universe, the Cosmic Mind, or whatever that is bringing about the results.

Those the look for the Science will see that the continuous and subconscious thoughts you have lead you in the direction of success or failure depending on the thoughts that are formed by your beliefs.

Whichever one you believe is correct. Just as light is both a particle and a wave so is the Law of Attraction but Science and Mystical.

By showing that through the power of the mind alone one can affect the result of light in an experiment as whether it is a particle or waves, it too can affect the Law of Attraction.

It all comes down to one thing, and one thing only, your Beliefs, and the thoughts they produce on a continuous subconscious level. These thoughts will lead you in the direction of success or failure.

If you are on the wrong path then it is your BELIEFS that are at fault. Not your parents, not your friends, not your boss, and not anyone or anything else. It is YOU and YOUR Beliefs that are at fault and need to change.

If you do not believe that then as they say keep doing what you are doing and you will keep getting what you are getting.

If someone troughs a rock at you and you don’t move you will get hit. If they do this time and time again and you still do not move you will keep getting hit. It is not until you decide to change your tactic and MOVE that you will stop getting hit. It is the same with your Beliefs.

What you decide to believe and have faith in will work, but it must be an powerful belief backed by unshakable faith.

    Hey scortillion.

    This is a lesson I really wish I had learned from my parents when I was young, hence my detailed post, because I made so many wrong choices and picked the wrong vibrations and I didn't see things this way as early in my life as I wish I had. I am now teaching my sons, ages 9 and 11, this very idea. That it is how they choose to look at something that determines the answer that they will arrive upon. I do little experiments with them to help them see this and to train their minds to look for the result they want, to look for the train of thought that will lead them to what they want.

      I know what you mean, it took me years to find books like this myself and turn my life around. I've seen it work for ME so for ME it works because I believe it will. If you don't then it won't.

      And it's Great what you are doing with your kids the will really benifit from it later on in life.
