I recently just finished reading think and grow rich and would like to know if anyone can recommend any other great books. This book has brought tears to my eyes what I've been after spending my many hours on the internet is inherently within. This is an incredible realization and I owe it partially to napoleon hill.

Stick to Robert Kiyosaki's first book Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It's easily his best (and some say his only worth reading)

I'll also second the recommendation for anything Tony Robbins. Specifically for me, it's "Get the Edge". Great program.

I'm glad this book has impacted you, I too was blown away by these principles the first time I came across this book. Its amazing how your perspective changes once you start to grow internally. I encourage you to re-read this book 6 months later, and you'll be amazed what else pops out of this read!

The Richest Man on Babylon is very good.
Anything by Norman Vincent Peale is good.

Think and grow rich is a summary of napoleon hill's law of success. You should get that book but it is very huge but it contains great stuff.

another good book is how to win friends and influence people by dale carnegie as well as the 7 habits of highly effective people... by stephen covey

The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles.

You can get it free online or shell out $5 to get the offline version.

It's one of THE personal development books that top coaches like Bob Proctor used to develop their self help programs.

A note of caution: many of the concepts discussed are mind bending. Stick with studying and practically applying these concepts and you will receive an awesome return.

    Have a powerful day!

      Hi Nick,

I'm a big fan of personal development. I also recommend the following:

      1) The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham - Esther and Jerry Hicks

      2) The Richest Man in Babylon - George S Clason

      3) The Science of Getting Rich - Wallace D. Wattles

      4) Three Magic Words - U.S. Andersen

In addition, allowe me to share with you a practical article that more clearly illustrates the power of sex transmutation, one of the chapters in "Think and Grow Rich." Many people find this particular chapter a bit tough to grasp, but this article makes it easier to digest. If you decide to check it out, make sure to also read the reader's follow-up questions at the bottom. Here goes:

Sex Transmutation: Sexual Energy into Genius

      Enjoy!

A great post, Nicholas. I'm a "inspiration book" junkie and Think and Grow Rich still ranks at the very top of my list. I loved it! I'm getting ready to start it for the third time. Also.. have you heard the Strangest Secret? (just recently discovered it doesn't work in Chrome.. so use IE) -- I've probably listened to that a few hundred times. It's food for the soul!

      Hi,

I listen to audio books in my car. A good one recently was 'What Would Napoleon Hill Do?'

it is 'Law of Success' and 'Think and grow rich' explained and annotated in one book. It also talks about the principles in modern terms, explaining that the meaning of words when TAGR was written have changed slightly. They explain what was actually meant. I found it very enjoyable.

I got it on audible.co.uk (or .com).

I fully agree with the other recommendations. I have read 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind' The Four Hour Work Week' and 'How Come That Idiot's Rich and I'm Not?'

I just ordered Michael Masterson's 'The Pledge' I'll let you know how it goes.

Two of my favourites are "The Amazing Results of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale and "Awaken the Giant Within" by Tony Robbins

Great question! TAGR is definitely a classic. I'm quite sure most of us have read it!

The Success Principles by Jack Canfield is great. He outlines a lot of the same kinds of principles you'll see in most other books about success, but in different ways, and with new principles as well!

Get the Life you Want by Richard Bandler. He talks about, and teaches you Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques. A great science developed by a linguist and a computer scientist that helps you to understand how to influence your brain. It's the study of success, it's the study of the structure of your internal experience, and it's also the study of how language effects the nervous system.

Focal Point by Brian Tracy! Amazing book. He talks about his typical 80/20 stuff, doing more of what gets you results, and less of what doesn't, and an array of additional resources that can literally change the way you action on goals!

    TONS MORE!

Great read... If you're in a "feely" mood, I also recommend...

A Man's Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl
Personal Power by Anthony Robbins (I really like his audio tapes too)
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey

    These are gamechangers, lol

Besides Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad, I recommend his Cashflow Quadrant book (hope I translated it well from my language ). I've read pretty much all his books and this one is the best. His most recent one (Conspiracy of the Rich) is also great.
