Oh boy, I was just thinking how rich I would be if I never made an excuse to put IM on the side.

Pretty powerful. Its in many peoples nature to come up with excuses so the trick is changing that mindset altogether.

I think he covered just about every excuse… and to finally see him you have to ask yourself, if he doesn’t have an excuse how can I???

Absolutely. It's powerful reminders like this that act as motivation.

I read some report that siblings of disabled and severly handicapped people are more likely to "succeed". I dont remember exactly how the study went or the definition of the success within the study, but the point is that actively reminding yourself that YOU CAN do something and that others in more difficult conditions are doing stuff that we are complaining and giving up on can only be beneficial.

I agree. When I find myself saying I can't do something, or it's impossible I try to look at people like him that have succeeded and overcome things far worse then what I'm looking at.

    That's how it's done.

People like him just do it, no matter what. We've all used excuses like that on occasion but I've found myself making less each day.

    Great stuff!

Just what we need to stop complaining and just do it. Such a shame that all we do is complain and we accomplish nothing. This video says it all: JUST DO IT. No buts, no ifs -- just do it. I think one needs to be brave though to 'just do it'.
The more you complain, the more you accomplish nothing.

Great selection. Thanks for sharing it.

I know too many people (many family also) that could probably come up with a few more excuses. I think they are masters at it.

MY GF's grandson is a youth basketball player. I will have to show him that one when he is over here tomorrow.
