Profound Mind Strategies

I believe in simplicity, but I also believe in expanding your mind, which to some isn't that easy! (over time it's incredibly rewarding!) I've been working on some pretty profound mind strategies and they really do the trick.

Imagine you had a quick strategy, that literally got you into a peak state, in 5 minutes. Would you use the application?

Here's one:

Take two minutes to focus exclusively on your breathing. Close your eyes. After about two minutes, repeat the phrase "Feel your Power," and actually engage in breathing heavily, and feeling your power. While you do it, create an image of something that excites you in your mind. It can be anything. No restrictions. Make the image have to do with an outcome you're moving towards. In the last minute, think of ONE ACTION you can take, RIGHT NOW that moves you closer to that outcome.

TAKE THE ACTION! So simple, anyone could have thought of that, and it gets results. If you change what your neurology is doing, and you engage your body like that, you'll feel differently. If you get into the habit of doing it, you'll have a different life. Think of the many micro-mind-strategies you can create to get yourself to engage massively in creating results in life! Hope this article fuels you to action!

Man, I gotta say you have been posting some real gems here. The micro-mind strategy is an interesting concept.

I'm tempted to share one of my own here, but I don't want to be accused of hi-jacking the thread

        Haha, Awesome!

Here is a method I use to regain focus. I love visualization, so this is a simple technique that combines language and imagery for a neat effect.

If you find yourself distracted, take a moment to picture a triangle in your mind. Imagine the triangle to be any color you want (preferably something significant or full of impact for you).

Imagine the triangle represents this moment - 1 point represents you, the other represents the object of your focus and the last point represents your results.

Then repeat to yourself "focus on the triangle".

I personally use this because it helps build visualization circuits with an easy object to picture. The "mantra" is also easy to remember but it holds a bigger impact because of the associations you create with this little technique.

Well, I hope someone else finds this useful too

This is extraordinary! You should copyright that! I will definitely use this, I'm totally a fanatic of visualization as well. Thanks for this!

            Hey Ryan,
No problem, feel free to use it. I'd appreciate if you gave me a link or something as attribution. Maybe we can do an exchange.

I have a couple of pages on my site dedicated to visualization. I'd be more than happy to post your site there as a related resource if you'd do the same.

            Happy holidays!

Edit: BTW, I just picked up your WSO and can't wait to get into it. I'll be sure to go over there and give you an honest review when I'm done.

Thanks! You'll love it. I just sent you a message on your contact form as well! As far as using the strategy, I mean on my own mind! That thing is effective!!

    Great Method Ryan!

A method I like Ryan is when you feel really stressed is to sit down, close your eyes, take a deep breath and then let it out while saying loudly Ahhhhhhhhh.

It has the feeling of expelling some of the tension…

    Ryan,

The strategy you share is of great value. Excellent.

One technique I've tried with great results is to get into the habit of success.

    It is extremely simple.

    1. Pick any action that you do several times a day, such as having a cup of coffee.

    2. Next time you feel the need to perform that action, visualize it for 1 minute before you perform it. Just imagine how you get out of your chair, walk over to the coffee machine and serve yourself a cup of coffee.

    3. Then, simply do it. Get the coffee.

    4. When you are back in the chair, take a minute to look at the cup of coffee. Smell it. Imagine all the hard work that people from all over the world have put in, in an effort to bring you this coffee. Then take the first sip. Enjoy the sensation as you taste everyone of the distinct flavors. Celebrate the success of having this cup of coffee at your desk.

And all you did was to get out of your chair and serve yourself some coffee.

Next time you need to reach a goal, think about the coffee...

As you try this technique, you can expand the goal from getting a cup of coffee to picking up your kids at school or writing 5 articles in a day. Anything becomes achievable once you get into the habit of success.

Ok peeps, Here is the best way i know how to change your mental state of mind. After i do this, its hard not to smile. I get a euphoric feeling from this. Sit up straight and relax your body and mind for a minute or so. Touch the roof of your mouth lightly with the tip of your tongue just behind your upper teeth as you perform this. Let out all of your air through your mouth. When you feel empty, give a little internal push from your diaphragm to expel the last bit of air. Breath in through your nose only ( keeping your tongue up top behind your teeth). As you draw in your air, count to 4. Hold it as you count to 5. Release your air through your mouth slowly at a count to 7. Remember your tongue position. At the count of 7 you feel all of your air is gone. Give that extra light push to expel the last bit. Do this only 3 consecutive times when starting out. You should do this once per day. If you do as i have explained. You will be amazed!
