Listen, I want to share with you a great mind element that helps me to move toward achievement everyday of my life and that is knowing the difference between an inaccurate mental model of how things work, and an accurate model of how things work. Let me explain.
For years of my life, I walked around thinking nothing was possible for me and that I was being controlled by the formulation of events that landed in my life. The truth really was I never learned how to take command.
When your mind goes "I have an idea," what most people do is say "it'll never work, remember what happened last time you tried etc." That's your brains reference system scanning through files that are already in place. I've found that results come easy when you can go in and put different files in there that get you to automatically take the action and implement the idea.
Seek as many references to replace those bad files as you can. Develop a different mental model of what's possible because ya know what the truth really is? (I'm about to sound all hoakey) Anything is possible. It really is if you've got the right strategies, you use what Tim Ferriss and John Reese seem to use a lot (TESTING) and you ensure the communication that takes place in your mind fuels you to action.
