Why I feel so good... even if they didn't buy

Hi guys,

I just sent out a great offer. Within a few hours, I got several emails. Around 5 people (I think) wanted to buy the product, but they honestly told me they don't have the funds available (or they don't even have money to pay the rent or something like that).

On a busy day, I would simply ignore this as I clearly wouldn't make any sales from them. But this time, I emailed back and empathize with them. I also gave them a quality free report that I think could greatly improve their present condition. And I told them to let me know if they need anything.

So I won't get any sales from this little extra effort? Who cares? Perhaps they might spread the word on how I helped them despite not getting anything back. Or perhaps they might become my customers in the future if their situation improves. But who cares?

The important thing is that I feel happy now. I feel good being able to help people and improve their life in any small way I can. And I'll start doing this more often.

The problem with some people is that when they know they won't be getting anything (financially) in return, they won't spend the time or effort to interact with people. But who cares about the money? It's about feeling happy and fulfilled that we've made a difference in our own little way.
