Locking Onto Targets

In my continuing study of what makes people great, I've found many things consistent in all effective people, one of which is:

The ability to lock onto targets.

It's real easy to (especially if you're trained to) engage in actioning on something and if it doesn't go according to planned, give up.

The problem with that is achievement is rarely realized without massive failure, a ton of tries and calibration along the way.

I realized this "locking on" strategy worked so well when I stayed on course for about 4 months on one specific outcome. Having hit the target and then some.. it really sealed the deal for me and got me out of the old way of thinking.

In a book called "The Winners Brain" where, from a neuroscientific standpoint, the authors wrote about success and what people did in their heads to achieve it, one of the major factors was the ability to lock onto targets.

The results are there for all of us, if we can lock on, engage rapidly and massively, and calibrate along the way! Thanks for reading.
