still looking for that secret - but on a temporary basis some quotes really inspired me and it helped me to get results above my average result producing behavior. I wish I would have remembered those quotes.

mine's "The size of your success is dependent on the size of your belief"

"success" frequently attributed to ralph waldo emerson, but in actual fact was probably written by someone else. This little piece of text had a big effect on me.

Mine happens to be Seize the Day!

You have to be able to imagine and believe that something can happen before you can make it happen.

Once when I was thinking really hard about life, this quote came to my mind:

- You'll have to die before you can truly experience life.

Meaning that the 'ego' part of you, that rests within everybody, the part that always whines about everything in life, makes you have addiction an makes you fear certain things, has to die.

When this part has left you, you will remain pure and grateful to everything in life.

It's a quite radical quote, but if you get the deeper meaning, it can help you in great ways!

One of the first quotes that I ever took to heart from a mentor of mine was:

"The truth is simple, and the truth shall set you free."

This quote applies to almost everything I do, think,feel about life.

I'm not holding this quote for myself, instead it reminds me how people is thinking of me.

This really applies to me since I get so down at times. I think we all do when we dream big. We've been taught to "expect the worst" and "hedge our bets" - I like the idea of acting like an optimist, knowing it'll go well, and working hard towards the goal!

I don't think I have one single quote that changed my life. I love quotes though, makes me think. I just think that it is not good enough just to read them, you have to apply them to your own life, or modify them. Learn from quotes and take action.

Here are some of my favorites:

When I was young, I remember what an impact JRR Tolkien's quote in Fellowship of the rings had on me. Gandalf answered Frodo's lament of wishing the Ring had never come to him with great advice:

"So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

I love it! And it has comforted me in some pretty rough time too.

I think what quote or statement that change My life was when I was asked why I havent started a business yet when I knew alot about business.

More like I was asked by a business man this questions. I didnt have a response but just excuses. What he said that changed my life was " Are You Scared " I started to think alot after he told me that.

I would say that was the statement or quote that helped me push myself in the direction I am in now. I still talk to that business man and thank him all the time and still learn from this person as well.

I used to feel that I was not intelligent enough to be successful. I thought that all the people that bad it in life where people way smarter than I was. The quote I have below sort of fits in on how I changed my way of thinking and I now have success.

Can't remember the exact quote, but on finishing college there was a high achiever giving a graduation speech, and he advised us to never NOT do something because we feared it was beyond us, that we'd be surprised what we were capable of if we just gave it a try. Has stuck with me ever since.

The quote that changed my life forever was:

"Life is a whirlwind of masterbation, shooting everywhere, accomplishing nothing."

Now, a lot of you are probably going to think this a joke or I'm some kind of wise guy. But this quote changed my life. I was skipping school and ended up at a college library. It was a huge tower. I was up on the 10th floor and walked past a table. This quote was written in white out on the desk. I stopped and I read it.

I was just a kid then and it made me smile and laugh at loud. I never forgot that quote and over the years I'd think about that quote and realized it shaped and guided my life in many ways. Sure, you can't take the quote literally! But to me it meant there's no meaning to life, it's what we make it, don't waste your time, don't take anything too seriously. In the end, this all BS. This life. What we do. Everything. So in that spirit, live for the moment, build something and if it comes crashing down, don't cry about it. Build something better. But don't get too attached.
