Today I started a challenge, called 4M400, it's basically something I set for myself to achieve. It's 4 months to $400/week. Starting with nothing, and using no PPC, or email marketing. Also organic traffic only.

Some challenge you have there... It's doable, however you know this will not be as simple as you make it sound.

I encourage and support you in your challenge and post back in May to tell us how you did

... and even if it was just $100 a week that you achieved, still please post back!

Great! I wish you all the best for it. I am making $1600/Month (even more) now a days and I started just one month ago. I think, its the same amount like $400/Week. Yes, you can definitely do it. Keep yourself motivated!

I would like to tell you that some easy way of getting organic traffic are:
- Press release
- Social Networking
- Forum Posting

Make a schedule for yourself and keep balance in your projects.
This is really doable and you can achieve it for sure.

What I understand your target is article marketing focusing to CB product.

My story here with mixed result, could not stand with those marketing things.

All I learned from warrior forums, have little success with SEO. Now I am stopped due to goggle sand boxed my site and taking too long time absence approve. Even paypal limited my account.

So taking some time to overcome this situation and building my article writings only at present. Next my focus will be only article marketing but no product support. Only revenue earning. So my target is much less than you.

@Alysemackie - you don't happen to be an aussie? Saw your site .com.au so figured... I actually heard about your site, one of my family friends were on it once I think... so when I clicked it, looked so familiar

Is it going good? Great to see the .com.au as well, I was thinking of targeting some websites in the near future for local searches. Would love to find out if it's any benefit at all for Google AU.

I think this is a fantastic motivation project! You are very clear on your goals, plan of action and are determined to succeed - you will definitely do well.

It also helps to continually visualize your end goal (and more) and imagine what it would feel like to have attained your $400/per week. Emotions have a strong vibration so this works well to ensure you attract the ideal outcome.

I would not make my goal about $400 a week because you will like a failure if you don't hit that number in the first week and probably not carry on Although I would have $400 a week goal in the back of my mind , I would make my goal investing in the activities EVERYDAY that make me money and give myself 160 days to produce $400 a week. then again you have given yourself 4 months so you be alrite . YOU HAVE GOT A BIG HEART I KNOW THINGS WOULD WORK OUT FOR YOU ....

Looks like I got in on this thread a little late but I still wanted to say Congratz on drawing a line in the sand!

I literally spent over $10,000 and four years in the dark before I came to the simple realization its all about mindset. Amazing how quickly my fortunes changed after that point.

If you take a look at the blog, in the beginning I bought Affiloblueprint, a course by Mark Ling. It's what got me "learning about IM". Then I just spent my time on that forum and on this forum learning stuff. Finally I started to apply. Basically I stayed focused MYSELF, with the help of coming to WF and going to the Affilorama forum and looking at success stories, to get me back on track if I felt I was swaying off. No coach, other than what Mark Ling provided in Affiloblueprint, and no groups to work with, other that a friend of mine who's in IM himself, but hasn't done anything (knows the theory but just hasn't applied himself to it much). In a way he could be seen as a liability, but he was the one who started pushing me, and now I hope to inspire him to start.

But as I said, you don't need any coach. Just get a plan of action, make sure it works (ask other IMs to check it for you) or just buy a product like Affiloblueprint which comes with step by step action plans and instructions to follow. And DO IT! Then seek threads like mine for inspiration so YOU can keep going for longer. And for goodness sakes, DO NOT QUIT!

Quitters make it easier for us who never quit, to succeed. Remember that. Which team do you want to be on?

If there's one thing you remember from this post for the rest of your IM career, it's this one thing I have learnt already on my journey.

Once you start IM, you have one of 2 futures. You either quit, or you succeed. That's it. Those who say they "fail" really just quit. They didn't fail... Those who say it doesn't work, they quit... Those who make money succeeded. Simple.

*UPDATE*

Yes it's nearing the end... And I guess things aren't looking that great in terms of the challenge. For those who are not aware of the challenge, it's basically to reach $400 per week in 4 months.

My update is here: Day 108 – Week 16 – 4M400 | The Big Venture

It looks like it's impossible to reach that challenge mark now, HOWEVER, I have still hit a mark where I think I get achieve $200 per week in this same time period. Yes that wasn't my goal, but from who I've talked to, that point usually can take people anywhere from 9 months to 1 year! So I guess it's good in that sense.

Although you may not have reached your goal of $400 per week, the most important this is that you stayed focussed and actually got on with some work towards your goals.
