All it Takes is One Sale

In both my study, and my active engagement in Internet Marketing, I've (like you) had my ups and downs. My first information product didn't do too well at all but I kept plugging away.

I tried making money online for years. Back in 2008 I had some sites up with Adsense that made me a whole

12 cents a day. WOOOHOOO!

I stayed at it. Finally, when I started taking control of my mind, reading about how successful people did things and applying what I had learned into my life, I started getting results.

I upped my game each time I made a sale because NOW MY BRAIN KNEW IT WAS POSSIBLE.

Even if you've made sales, and all of the sudden things have slowed down, YOUR BRAIN NEEDS TO SEE ANOTHER SALE!

As soon as you do, BOOM, it's on.

If you haven't made any sales online with any products, just work toward getting that one sale. The first one changes everything.

Not that I'm some Guru claiming to make six figures in 13.4 seconds, but I've done pretty well with some information products.

Thanks for reading - Get the sale - It's all yours.

The first sale is the best, even if it is just 12 cents on adsense!

I think what I really need is to set goals and keep feeling motivated. The beginning of 2011 has past by a bit, and I feel I need a kick up the _____ to get me into the mood to really achieve!

Agree...when I first started it seemed as though nothing was going right....until I focused on one area...once I got more first sale I couldn't believe it....I then spent all my time in that one area and started seeing sales rapidly increase

My first sales online was in 2002 when I made an online training program. The quality of the video was terrible but I thought video was the future of the internet so I went on. After I was done, I waited for weeks to get my first sales. Then one day I got the first $135. I was ecstatic. That gave me the power to go on.

Ryan, you are right, You brain needs it. otherwise, you start to doubt yourself and the future. There is this little voice in your head that starts telling you things. Once you start doubting yourself you will run out of steam and give up.

Nice Insight Ryan. When I use to do Face To Face Sales Offline I use to focus on getting my first sale of the day. It did not matter how small or big the sale was. It gave me confidence and momentum the rest of the day and week.

You'll make it. Think about this in terms of phases.
      1. Phase 1 - Frustration, no sales, wanting to quit.
      2. Phase 2 - Frustration, no sales, the potential to make a bit of progress.
      3. Phase 3 - Frustration goes a way a bit, you actually get a bit of progress and it reignites your motivation.
      4. Phase 4 - Wow, I'm not the frustrated anymore, because I stuck with it, my brain is learning and I'm actually starting to see a bit of money!
      5. Phase 5 - Frustration is barely there, I'm seeing results, I've achieved a quick mastery over a system, I'm making some sales and I'm continuing to learn more.
      6. Phase 6 - Up the Ante - Keep Learning Everyday.

I'm no expert, but I took it in phases, got through each phase and started making money.

Your brain will learn, if you give it the time. Read the free reports from the experts, decide what's valuable and what's not, you'll get results.

Those are the hardest phases! But those are arguably the phases where your brain learns the most!

Nah man, no giving up. Erase if from your vocab.

The truth is, you'll make the sale. Then you'll make more, and more and more and more.

You just have to stick with it, have a mind of your own (don't go buying a thousand products to get the right system) and use a little bit of ingenuity.

Send me a PM if you have questions about anything. I'm not some guru, but I've learned and am applying some effective stuff, and getting results.

The first sale is the best because it is the first big step into your exciting journey. It's like your first kiss. Something you'll never forget.

You're right. That is my problem right now, I was getting used to about 4 sales a week with web design... Now I have gone about a week and a half without a single sale and it is very frustrating. I know that it is just a matter of time, and it is a numbers game but it gets me pretty anxious!

I know just what you mean - When things slow down.. my brain goes "what the he** is going on!"

Then I try to up the ante in some way, depending on the circumstances.

What do you think slowed things down? The holiday slowed things down for me.

The 1st sale is always the hardest. But when you get it, suddenly all sales are a sinch.

Precisely! It does a lot to your psychology when your brain sees how possible it really is!

I agree. The first sale is a milestone...and it's definitely something to celebrate...and...something to remember--the only constant is change...we'll always be needing to tweak, adjust and modify what we're doing. Create multiple milestones so you're always celebrating!

    Yeah that's true :-)

I never forget my first Sale which was a clickbank product. I promoted it via PPC and it was just amazing to log in and see that you just made $76 out of $5 promotion... That was such an awesome feeling
