    I met him once at his high school in Wilmington, NC.

    I like quotes, most are pretty inspirational. I like the idea of people soaking something in and feeling better about themselves or what they are doing.

    Failing sucks, and is not acceptable, 99.99% of us do not get 9,000 shots at Anything. You miss that first shot, there isn't a whole 8,999 shots to even be had. Failing to people online means you made a bad decision.

      Failing is awesome, I do it all the time. (Or, put differently, I'm making progress and succeeding all the time.)

      The only reason why people don't reach their goals in Internet Marketing is because they give up too soon. (Seriously.)

    That a great quote, I never heard that one before and I'm from Chicago.

    One the problems I've always had is to link a bad feeling to a mistake. It changed when I heard someone call it a mis-take like when filming a movie. You keep doing it over and again until you get a 'take.'

    I can't remember who discussed viewing your life as filming a movie and you are the star, but it sure has helped me. I keep all the 'takes' and discard all the mis-takes. And I don't feel bad or ashamed about them.

      Very good ideas. In areas that take hard work like Internet Marketing and in my personal case, music, I like to take a detached approach. What I mean by this is that I treat these endeavor's as a scientist at an experiment. Something isn't going well so I assess what needs to be done and move on from there.

      This is extremely easier said than done, especially when you are particularly passionate about the subject. Even then, you have to be oblivious to the emotions surrounding failure until you can actually say that you're goal has been met.

    I have read this before, and I find it to be so inspiring. I interpret it to mean that failure is a very necessary component of success - if the one of the world's greatest athletes had to fail so many times en route to success, why should we expect our journey towards success to be any different?
