Sooo,

Started my day with my computer literally catching fire damn near and fried my motherboard. Had no idea why my computer kept shutting down unexpectidely. Took her in and and they shared the GREAT news with me.

I though, uhhm oh well, Sh** happens.

Got down the street and my phone started blowing up with texts. Before i say what they were...please keep in my i just quit my job and am trying my damndest to start an offline business. So, its the first of the month all my bills are due....

I check my texts..and its my bank saying my accounts are all overdrawn??:confused::confused:

I get home and call them since i cant check online, and they say the state has freezed my accounts and taken all of my money over unpaid unemployment debt and interest from my youth days over 15 years ago...

I have not one PENNY to my name, bills are all due, and trying to start a business!

This is typical luck for me! I am cursed! So before you say you got it bad...GUESS AGAIN!!

Cheers and hope this inspired you that your life is going fine!

Change your mind, and you change your “reality.”

I know it's difficult sometimes, however, it really does make a World of difference. You can start by hanging out here, because there's some awesome people who have taken control of their lives. (Or, are in the process of doing so.)

Oh - And don't pick a fight with God. (He's bigger than you.)

Trust me when my cat died last year the LAST thing I wanted to hear was "it's going to be ok."

But it's almost a year later, I miss him still very much, but I'm better and things are getting better.

Looking back over the years every time I thought things were bad and that there wasn't any hope, things worked out.

Back in 1995 I went through a bad divorce and thought thigs were the worst they ever were, but over 10 years later I met and married the most wonderful woman in the world and we are very happy and even better best friends.

So when things go to hell, try not to dwell on the problem but what can you do to solve the problem. Focus on the solution, not the problem. Because things do get better even though they don't seem like they will at the moment.

Here's another way of looking at it:

Sometimes life tests you. (Sometimes it really tests you.) And, it's an opportunity to grow: Something that can make you stronger.

I once heard (on this forum) that God doesn't burden you with anything that you can't handle. And in my experience that has been true. Try looking at it like that.

At the very least you'll have a more positive attitude.

    Good luck. :-)

      Man to man

1.) Never under estimate God, Jesus Christ is the way the truth an the light no one comes to the Father but through him.

After all the money an fame an fun we die an if your name isn't in the book of life there is no entrance to the Kingdom. This heaven a hell stuff is really trust your boy.

2.) If you have no money man get a job asap EGO down an if your serious an have no money don't believe this online dream takes no investment it does it takes money man an you seem to have none so instead of looking for the pie in the sky i would get any job don't matter to build capital an focus an build a business if your serious of go get clients an start to work on them.

Bottom line have a plan either get a job or get clients offline an the most important .

The title of this thread is very offensive for us who believe in God. I understand your anger but please keep it to yourself. This thread should be closed or at least, the title should be changed

You guys are right, im just angry. Im a good person, treat people with great respect and how i want to be treated. So much so, that people think im weird in public because i am so outgoing and kind naturally.

Someone wrote how they were homeless and struggled too....that is my life story since a kid. I ALWAYS rise above and stay strong even as a homeless kid at 15 with no family or a soul in the world who gave two sh**s about me. I was too scared of suicide, but kept faith it would get better. And yes, I am healthy, and have ALOT to be happy and thankful for. But for some weird reason, I always get kicked back down again when I start to see a little positive life and sucess.

It may be for all my sins in my life, i dunno. Or the devil as one said in an earlier post. I get the whole 'make you stronger' speech, but my goodness, when does it end?? Childhood til now (33) same kind of luck...people always misjudging me, bad luck, failed businesses, fired from jobs for silly misunderstandings...the people that know me must think im nuts. Whats crazy is, i am not, just weird black cloud like the original story above? I even go to church and truly believe in god. I just hope this passes soon!

        Thanks everyone and god bless.

PS-im changing the thread name, dont want to offend, was only joking and being sarcastic.

          Hey Cchipster. :-)

I thought you were “complaining” about something that happened once.

However, after reading your reply, I realize that you've been through a lot, and that's something I respect, because it seems like you're a decent human being. (Many people let their problems get the better of them.)

At the moment it seems like you have this “story” in your head about being someone who is “unlucky” and doesn't succeed.

Well - I used to think the same way. I thought of my self as an “unsuccessful” person and everything I focused on was congruent or consistent with that belief.

However, as I changed my mindset (into someone who was “successful”) suddenly I started remembering things from my past - Things I totally forgot about. And, I began remembering things from my day-to-day interactions that were congruent with being a “successful person.”

          So here's the deal.

Something you may like to try is to write down something like:

“I'm a successful, and lucky person.”

Then write something down. Everything from your past. And write everything down that comes to you throughout the day. You can even turn it into an affirmation that you practice.

I don't know if this will be helpful or not. So I'm just throwing it out there. Something to leave you on which I mentioned earlier:

“Change your mind, and you change your reality.”

Yes, be thankful. I can actually relate to society's worst of the worst, because some people get dealt a hell of a hand and do not have the mental capacity like myself to handle it. Thus, going ballistic and doing what some people think as 'crazy'.

Be thankful of everything you have.

This has nothing to do with being thankful. (But that's a good start.) What I've shared with you could actually change your life.

Well - maybe. Some people just like complaining.

This farmer had only one horse, and one day the horse ran away. The neighbors came to condole over his terrible loss. The farmer said, "What makes you think it is so terrible?"

A month later, the horse came home--this time bringing with her two beautiful wild horses. The neighbors became excited at the farmer's good fortune. Such lovely strong horses! The farmer said, "What makes you think this is good fortune?"

The farmer's son was thrown from one of the wild horses and broke his leg. All the neighbors were very distressed. Such bad luck! The farmer said, "What makes you think it is bad?"

A war came, and every able-bodied man was conscripted and sent into battle. Only the farmer's son, because he had a broken leg, remained. The neighbors congratulated the farmer. "What makes you think this is good?" said the farmer.
