What are some of your daily habits to help you stay motivated and driven?
There are many out there from affirmations, visualization, listening to music, reading quotes, playing with your children, etc.

Mine is definitely affirmations and visualizations. Read a statement aloud 2x a day and visualize your end goal of what you want in life. This helps me fuel my fire which gives me purpose to drive through life.

    Hi Simon,

I try and start my day by watching an inspirational video (thanks to YouTube that is not hard to find). I find that sets my mind for the day and I can get a whole lot more done than days when I just jump into work without any preparation.

When I get tense or think something is not going to work (those doubts and brain chatter can be debilitating) then I move away from my computer and do some deep breathing and visualization techniques until that "knot" in my insides goes away. I find this helps me stay focused on the positives of what I am doing rather than letting my ego rule my day.

Might sound weird but it works for me
    Have a great day
    Ellen

Thats great Ellen, I do alot of the same but I definitely enjoy going to the gym and working out. Nothing better then releasing some endorphins to get you pushing through the day.

End your day by planing your actions for the next day > then you don't start planing your day in the morning but just jump right in to action!

I like what Valtan said here. Then when you have your plan, wake up the next day and work as quickly and efficiently as possible to get it done as quickly as possible.

Doing that consistently creates a huge momentum of "getting things done".

You always have to "see" yourself succeeding and focus on what you want rather then what you don't have.

This is a must if you want to reach what ever goals you may have.

I agree with visualization and affirmations and goal setting. Always focus forward rather then backwards. It amazes me how many people dwell on their failures and end up failing over and over again. Focus on what you want and you will become that.

I find that the best way to achieve your goals is to set them up in large letters in front of you, in your work area, where you can always see them. This makes them "tangible" and eventually achievable.

You're best bet if simply to start working and keep at it. It will "snowball": if you don't work and slack, it's easy to continue to do so without yourself even noticing.
I don't use this method as much: but if your goal in the end of the day is (say) a vacation somewhere, put a picture of that to remind yourself. I've heard some people use this method well.

I try to relax and clear my mind in the mornings before I start my daily IM tasks. Usually when I go to bed I throw on the deep relaxations sounds of nature and I play them through a surround sound system so it seems I really am at the beach or where ever...

I also like to plan every single say so i dont waste time doing unproductive things - this way i get alot more done and dont get the feeling of being paralyzed with too much to do.
