Internet marketing has changed my life. But it is not the internet marketing that has done it. I know have goals to work towards and this field has created a working monster on the inside, I feel sometimes know. I am willing to go the extra mile now! This is what separates the men from the boys I am afraid! Are you willing to go the extra mile, lose a little sleep, and get dirty? If not, you might as well quit now!

I agree with you 100%. You have to be willing to "go the extra mile" and "get dirty", otherwise you have no reason for being in this game.

I'm finding that you start to learn general techniques that can really help people feel better about their problems in almost any niche.

When you study so many different niches and hear from people with problems, it's hard not to start to understand the psychology behind the problem and behavior or whatever it is.

It makes us more conversational, but also hopefully more understanding of people and more useful for helping them.

I can relate to you, because now everyone wants to ask me for self-improvement. My authority has been building much faster since I started Internet marketing. I love the feeling that people look up to what I am building. Also, Internet marketing is wonderful because you can get your voice to all sides of the earth with a click of the button!

Ha ha... well you made me smile over the morning coffee.

Actually I tend to favor niches that I already knew something about, so never thought of it as educational. Though there was the time I learned about Forex.

And what are the guys above (in this thread) so freaked out about -- hemorrhoids or yeast infections? If it's hemorrhoids, tell them that going through life with a butt-clenched attitude when you hear certain words doesn't help. If it's yeast infections, they better get over it, because if a wife or girlfriend mentions the phrase and they run screaming from the room, it isn't going to go well.

The research you do to find niches or become an expert in one can really a really fascinating person to talk to. Before I got into IM I had a business (writing business plans) that required constant research. I became what I thought was a huge source of useless information. But it has in fact served me well. Many things you learn as a newbie I already knew.

Do people really talk about hemorrhoids and yeast infections at parties?
