The Most powerful motivation tactic

The most powerful motivation tactic I use is I carry a photo of myself around when I was a little kid. Whenever I feel down or in a slump or need some motivation I look at that photo and think to myself I want to make that little kid proud. Because when we are kids nothing is impossible, it's only society and our up bringing that make us the way we are. So I always try to bring out that attitude that I had when I was a kid and it gets me through any slump.

Wow! I work full time and am doing alright, but when I was a kid, I thought I would be doing much better. Maybe I need to get a picture of my younger days.

Tyrone! This is original man. I like it. Gets me thinking.

I look at motivation differently than most people, having studied the brain science behind it. I deliberately activate my brain so that it's easier to activate "motivation circuits."

I do that by either reading a couple pages of an intellectually stimulating book, or practice giving a speech in my living room. Articulation (or the act of translating stuff that's in your brain, through language into words) is a very brain activating exercise.

When you're in a high performance state, it's easier to produce motivation.

I also like to watch videos of Gary Vaynerchuk, that dude motivates the sh** out of me inherently.

That is a really interesting insight you have right there. I think we all can get that feeling back, where we didn't have a care in the world. I imagine if we can get back to that point in life, we'll feel extremely good.
