Hey,

My name is William, here from Houston, Texas.

With a strong heart and good faith there is nothing we can not accomplish in this world. It all starts with the mindset we have. We can try, but nothing good can be accomplished with a negative mindset because a negative mindset will only put us in negative positions. Good things come to those with a positive attitude. They may not come over night, but they will come.

When I first started my journey, I doubted my abilities and that lead to me putting a limit on my proformance. That did not get me anywhere so I have changed my mindset. I know there is nothing I can not accomplish with time and persistance.

Time and persistance combined with a positive attitude are a combination for success!

What do you think?

God bless,
William Veasley

I think the both nice and awful thing to realize is that we're all mortal in a chaotic universe.

You could try to unite the whole world and die one day before completion, or one day after you've started working on it, or anywhere in the process.

Or you could just give up on it and "enjoy the moment", while trying to get rid of the nagging thought that your live could've been more interesting and challenging.

I know that there's a chance for me to never achieve my life's dream, but it's the courage to try anyway and not succumb to mediocrity and mere comfort that gets me up in the morning - and I've tried the opposite, just doing "nothing", watching sitcoms, spending time with girls, going to restaurants, and it just feels like numbing yourself after a while.

Bertrand Russell eloquently said: "Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own."

The same applies to life, few are willing to get up and let some fresh air in, but if you're willing to leave your comfort zone, the new experiences are in themselves refreshing and there is a sort of peace in constantly challenging yourself that letting the days pass by just doesn't compare with.

      Hey Henry,

I'm very happy you took the time to share your thoughts with me here today. I really value your opinion and mindset. You are right on point aout your thoughts. More times than none in order for you to get where you want to be you must leave your comfort zone.

Your comfort zone will be what holds you back from reaching new heights, and achieving things you have never achieved before. It's extremely hard to step out of your comfort zone and into a strange, unfimiliar, and uneasy lifestyle.

This is what seperates the people who continue to succeed and experience new heights from the people who don't. When you learn to step outside your own boundries you will start to notice improvement fromn within. Soon after everyone else will start noticing it also.

      Thanks again!

      God bless,
      William Veasley

Yeah, mindset is vital to achieving success, in every area of life.

Someone once said that the battle is in the mind. If we can control what's going on between the ears, everything else will fall into place.

I agree completely that the mindset is perhaps the most important thing in any business. But humility and hard working are very important co-factors too. If one has a great positive mindset, but is too proud of himself, he's very prone to laziness and overestimating himself. Just like in the old story with the Rabbit and the Turtle. They both had a great mindset, but the rabbit lost the race because of his pride. However, if the turtle didn't have the right mindset, he'd give up easily .

I'm going to quote Zig Ziglar on this one..

I strongly agree with you because we are created with immense inner strength but majority of humans do not get to their full potentials in their lifetimes.

The few that are celebrated or called genius are those that are dogged enough to exhume their inner strengths for better causes.

          Hey Devid,

          Thanks for the comment!

I know that I have a lot of inner stength, but the hard part is using it or at least getting to it. In my case, inner strength only comes out in certain situations and that is usually when I am doing something I enjoy.

When I am doing some that I do not like then it is hard to find my inner strength. I search hard and long for it, but sometimes I cannot find it no matter what I do.

          Just my two cents!

          Best wishes!

When everyone doubts you need to believe. If you truly believe that you will succeed
and are prepared to do everything necessary in order to hit your goal, there's no way
you can fail and there isn't a thing you can't achieve.

Nice share of insights William! I totally agree with you, being pessimistic don't get you anywhere but frustrations, depression and loneliness but bring optimism to your life then everything else will follow.

Yes, I have heard that a little optimism goes a long way! We just have to have faith that everything will work out for the best. The way I see it is that thinking that way is a whole lot better than thinking negativily.
