Learning it's true you are what you focus on...

After doing hundreds of sales in a matter of hours on a recent launch, I find myself getting bummed out by the whole 2 refund requests I have in my email box this morning.

Why is it so easy to forget about your success in the face of the smallest defeat?

Here's the thing about refunds. Every request I get, and my refund rate is only about 1-2% are usually the most hilarious and ridiculous things you'll ever hear.

One request asked for their money back simply because they needed the money. The product worked for them, they got results but they were tight on cash and really needed the whole $27 back.

I've taken a different look at this whole thing, I'm taking it as a compliment. The fact that they are soo tight on money they had to ask for a refund on a product that worked for them, is the result of good copywriting. Tight on money but they still bought, seems I need a better stick letter or something.

Change the way you look at things, what you look at changes. I suppose it's true and I need to take a lesson from Seligman's 'learned optimism' concept.

I'm just rambling, figured everyone goes this little change in perception at some point.
