THE Right Brain vs Left Brain test ...

Can anyone see both clock & counter clock wise?

Scroll down for instructions. Do you use both sides of your brain?

This is quite amazing..
If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain.
If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.

If you try to see it the other way and if you do see, your IQ is above 160 which is almost a genius.
Then see if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current.
BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN
This was proved at Yale University , over a 5 year study on the human brain
and it's functions. Only 14% of the US population can see her move both ways.

And the other 86% are too busy checking out her perky breasts.

edit: I stopped looking at her breasts and diverted my focus to the tip of her outstretched foot. After doing that, I can now see her rotating counter clockwise in addition to clockwise.

In other words, my IQ went from about 80 to over 160 just by getting my mind out of the gutter.

This seems to be an urban legend. Throw the words "Yale", "study", "brain", and "IQ" together and you've got instant credibility. But I would like to see the results of the alleged research if it exists.

That's up to people to decide on their own I guess

It's funny how the MaskedMarketer seems to have his Mask pulled over his eyes.

I notice he sometimes takes something I say, turns my position around 180 degrees, and then argues against the modified position.

For instance, I might say something like, "The sky is blue".

And MaskedMarketer might reply, "No it's not, you idiot, the sky is blue dammit - it's BLUE!"

          Now that's humor!

Maybe the "Yale" study was humor too?

"This was proved at Yale University , over a 5 year study on the human brain and it's functions. Only 14% of the US population can see her move both ways."

That's humor? Seems like someone is trying to "prove" something. It says so in the sentence above, lol...

Nothing funny about this post or the topic.

Sorry to rain on the parade. Its only "humor" or a "joke" when its not true.

          LOL.

Mojojuju took it literal and no one said it was a joke or humor to him. He must have missed the joke as did I.

Now, its only a joke, when I say something?

I must not share the same type of humor as the rest of you.

This is strange. When I read the first post and read the words clockwise, the girl begins to turn clockwise, if I concentrate on the foot she goes anticlockwise. If i return to this thread later she is spinning the way I last saw her. But looking at the word clockwise made her change direction for me - wow

Genius IQ is 140 - so 160 would be more than "almost genius". This puzzle does take both left and right brained skills, but you don't have to be a genius to use both sides of your brain. Many folk that are not geniuses can take the left/right brained test even further and write with both hands.

Cute test but not the indicator it wanted to say it was. It just makes me wonder what exactly it was that they were attempting to sell.

I saw this one quite a while ago, and came up with a few ways to make it turn the other way on demand.

      1. Just WILL it to spin the other way. Saying it out loud works for some people I guess.
      2. Have you done tai chi? Do the "part the wild horse's mane" move...when you split left, she spins left, when you split right, she spins right.
      3. Imagine holding a ball between your hands. Now pretend the ball is spinning either clockwise/counterclockwise to make her spin the other way.
      4. Take your thumb and index finger, each it out in front of the picture and pretend you're squeezing her head or body between them. Then use your thumb and finger to 'spin' her in the desired direction.

Sometimes it takes a few tries, but these methods work better than simply trying to see it in a different way.

Wow , this is amazing. After trying mind over matter ( my brain ) I could not see it, got frustrated , called myself stupid, gave up , relaxed, looked again and amazingly I saw it move counter clock wise, then looked away and she spun clockewise. I wonder if this can be used as a training exercise to increase creativity.

I see it both ways. As someone else said "Really amazing... I'm a genius". I am naturally left handed but can do many things ambidextrously. I can only bat right handed, but I play left handed out on the baseball field. I also play golf right handed, and when I am carrying a bag I carry it with my right hand.

I also thought that left handed people were always more creative. When I worked in the arts I found that there was a disproportionate number of left hand people when compared to the general population.
