Say the statement to yourself a few times.

Now watch the feelings that arise. See if you fight the statement, judging circumstances which APPEAR to be unfair in the world, or most importantly, in your life.

When you've identified a situation that appears to be unfair in your life, congratulate yourself. You've just identified one of the bonds that prevents you from being free.

I agree with you, and there are much more things one can say to himself.

Being happy is all in our minds. Why bother and fuss about bills? They will always be there rich or poor and end up being paid anyway. I'm not saying to congratulate yourself for getting a bill, but to the very least, don't fuss about it.

Agreed! And along the lines of "perspective," I've gotten through some tough, scary times by reminding myself that a situation is all about the slant I put on it.

Some people can have a "perfect" day, yet when someone asks them how their day went, they say, "Well, it was a little disappointing. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to."

Others can have a day full of calamity, and their response to the same question might be, "I had a pretty good day. I made it home safely."

Once you realize the world revolves around the sun
and not you, it's easy to see that life is painfully fair.

It's not fairness that most of us look for. We want the
scales to be tipped a little (or a lot) in our favor.

When things don't go our way, when bad things happen,
illness, broken relationships, business deals gone sour, we
have a tendency to say,"why me?" "It ain't fair!"

But, when we remove our heads from our butts and look around,
we see millions of others also suffering just as much as we are,
many far more. Thats when we realize that as excruciating
as life can seem at times, It is always fair. No one goes unscathed.

This is not a complaint, just an observation.

The most successful people I know never blame others, only themselves. To them, it's not about being "fair," per se. It's about taking responsibility for your life. You're in control. Just do it

You are such a philosopher, I am amazed.

But what about a kid that is born in the poorest african country, with nothing to eat and dies of malnutrition?

    Is that fair?

Life is definitely what you make it and is filled with battles at times. So long as you keep in mind to have a strong attitude towards conquering the obstacles life doesn't seem so bad.

      Hi apl,

Thanks for posing this question, it's the one that comes up the most, along with tragedies.

The collective consciousness of people creates circumstances. That's why it's so important to spread the message that thought and feeling causes all....we are god-like (lowercase "g") with the Divine operating through us, and our subconscious continues to create the world as we know it. And that we need to think and feel high energy thoughts to help those out who don't have the awareness of these awesome laws.

Move your attention away from what appears to be unfair - so you don't perpetuate it - and see everybody living a fulfilled life.

Appearances are not Reality. Paradise is inherent, if we could just bring our collective consciousness back to this idea and stop judging according to appearances the world would change and be quite magical. Of course, this takes real mental effort, and most people don't want to put it forth, so we see conditions that appear to be unfair.

Another note: you can still be compassionate while holding this mindset but the best thing to do is to help people by picturing them thru difficult circumstances along with providing any physical aid to improve their lives. Keep moving your attention to the fact that the world is improving dramatically and thing like poverty and sickness are going away. Appearances says "no", but Truth and appearances are vastly different in most cases.

Quantum physicists believe there's not a universe without thought holding it together. That's how powerful thought and feelings are.

Whatever the collective brings its attention to, perpetuates. Tough one to grasp but when you believe in it you will tune out pictures that you are forming now of people suffering and see them living better lives. That's the best thing that you could do.

Thanks again and have a powerful day!

Ah. I was with you until you got to this. You answered a yes or no question with a lot of bells and whistles. Be honest and say what you really think. You think YES THIS IS FAIR. Admit it.

My father always told me that life is not fair, and the universe owes you nothing. Then he would ask me, now what are you going to do about it?

About fairness, yes, I belive it is fair, I belive in Karma. Answers everything
And about what you say about consciousness creating circumstances, I think it is similar to the "Madhyamika" of Mahayana or the "Pure Vision" in Vajrayana Buddhism.
