Ultimate Inspiration: Anthony Robles

Anthony Robles went undefeated and won the NCAA Wrestling national title for his weight class tonight.

Awesome feat. Even more awesome? He has one leg.

AR was born without a right leg. His mom drilled the idea into him that he was born this way for an perfect reason.

Well, he found one of his reasons. To inspire others by becoming an elite level athlete and national champion in an extremely competitive sport.

If you feel as if you want to quit, don't. Or you feel you can't get past something......you can.

Think about AR and your perspective will change very quickly.

Have you heard of Anthony Robles?

What an incredible person and incredible story.

Its refreshing to see the media coverage of him as well. Its people like him that proves how incredible we are. And how we let our own obstacles get in the way of our life.

If you have never seen or heard of Nick Vujicic he is another incredible person. Born with out any limbs. Check him out too.

    Thanks Guys!

They did about a 4 minute piece on him with his mom on Sportscenter, a rarity to devote that much time to one story but I was so happy to see it.

Yes I've seen Nick V, another awesome inspiration.

He just lets you know that its not what you have, its more about what you want and how far you are willing to go to get it. He worked hard at what he has and were he is now. I bet there were times he wanted to quit and telling himself that he cant do it. Wonderful story of someone overcoming all obstacles to get to where they wanted to be.

He didnt use his missing leg as an excuse.
    AR an example of success.

I saw him in the news a few weeks back and I was in awe of his skill, determination and level of fitness. I keep wondering how he does it if you can properly run for fitness!? Anyway thanks for the post, indeed very inspirational.
