Hey guys,

Lately i've been giving a lot of thought to the topic of ideas.

There are many conceptions about how an idea is generated and the models to apply that idea into action.

What does it take for ideas to become actions?

Is there a stated process or flow chart that can explain the whole topic of ideas better?

I can't wait for you guys to comment.

Thanks,

Max

Max, I'm not sure there is a flowchart for how an idea becomes an action, I almost think its more a personality characteristic or automated process as opposed to a thought out stepped process that can be drawn out.

Of course you can train yourself to have that personality (super important in IM)!

Idea is something abstract. It takes realistic approach to adapt an idea for the world to consume it.
Basically, one has to answer questions: "How can I make this work" or "What's needed for this to work". Once you have these answers, you can act. Or skip

Idea execution is always the most difficult stage. But your passion for the idea is what serves as the vehicle for action. Applying the logic to an idea is much easier if you have the drive for it.

True, I would even go so far as to argue that passion is more important than logic. Many of the most successful entrepreneurs relied on passion to drive their ventures, not logic. In fact, many times, true entrepreneurs pursue very illogical ventures.

That is a great point. Then, the true entrepreneurs that find success with their illogical pursuits claim to have enough foresight to justify their logic (which is true, in many cases). However, whether by luck or brilliance, it's still a check in the win column

True that. That brings up a good point. I don't know one very successful person who doesn't credit much of their success to luck, but they all work their butts off to create and attract that luck. That's the difference between the true entrepreneurial mindset and the average mindset. Entrepreneurs attract luck, and the average non-entrepreneur waits for it

But thats a whole different story!

I agree! Feed and use your passion to drive the vehicle of your idea. Joining a MasterMind is also a good idea at that point, to help flesh out the business plan to take the idea to market. But as Napoleon Hill recommends, be DISCRIMINATING in who you choose to MasterMind with. Also, NH recommends that you be discriminating in who you share your idea with - you want to surround yourself w/ positive, energetic people who can help you carry your idea to fruition. Be careful of naysayers who would like to deplete the energy of your ideas.

BTW, have you read Think and Grow Rich yet? This would be an excellent time for you to read and study a chapter a week while you are carrying out your 21 week plan.

Think and Grow Rich has been cited by almost every great entrepreneur as a "Must Read" book. You can find inexpensive used copies on Amazon. It was written in 1937 and continues to be read by thousands today. I am studying it w/ a small group on a free weekly tele-call; this is my 3rd reading and I am still mining the gems. Deceptively simple to read and requires a great deal of follow-through. So many read and don't follow through because they never really identified the true desires of their heart.

          It is an amazing book.

When I get ideas that pop into my head I like to brainstorn writing them all down and circle the best ones then layout a framework for my project assigning tasks by priority

Anyone can have any untold number of ideas every day, but that doesn't mean they should be acted upon. If you have an idea that you decide might be worth following up on, then start thinking about what you need to do in order to put that idea into action. Write down the steps you need to take to accomplish whatever that idea is.

Those steps are what will lead to you reaching your goal (end result of idea).

Yes, passion can play a strong part in that but action is what gets things accomplish.

I agree that brainstorming helps sort out which thoughts and ideas are worth considering. Sometimes putting your ideas on paper will help solidify what course you want to follow.

You need to have a solid plan first before you take an action. A well-planned action often ended to a successful action.

      Some great answers already

First off: Always protect your dreams like a mother would protect her child. They are your opportunity for greatness.

Wealth is simply turning the inside out - if you're full of junk you're only going to be sharing that Manifesting true billiance is the result of you loving yourself and therefore attracting vibrational matches that reflect that love back to you - ideas come from out of space and in confusion you attract confusing ideas while in clarity you attract clear ideas. Ideas that are not only possible but also probable - ideas that make you go: UHHHH, WAY COOL! and that you want to act upon. Action should never be in question - if you don't want to act upon something it's not the right thing for you (yet). The energy is not aligned and from a higher perspective there might be complications that you can't see yet.

Most ideas that pop into our head are actually a scenario with the LEAST beneficial result for the higher mind while it is often times the MOST beneficial results for our limited mind - due to our limited nature what we need to learn is to allow

The manifestation of your desires is not only determined by the strength of your desire but also by the level of your allowance. A strong desire with a lot of resistance can take longer than a slight desire with less resistance.

Think of it as a leaking out of you - the more you are filled with anything the more it is going to flow out of you. An orange will always produce orange juice No apple juice.

There are people who make tons of money with a song that took them 20 minutes to write down and other people apply themselves for years and only make a fraction of that. There is a very important factor included in that which a lot of people that try to 'plan' their future disregard: Your level of allowing that which you desire to come into your experience. The universe can hand everything to you - if you can allow it. Your experience is only going to become as good as you can allow it

The mind associates EVERYTHING - ideas are built from a combination of how environmental input is associated (mostly a subconscious act) and your conscious system getting input it needs to use or a conscious alert that it NEEDS input to solve a real world survival issue. Everything remembered and associated subconsciously is put to work to match up with what the conscious mind is requiring. When matches are found, the light bulb flashes on.

Your right max there are many conceptions on how an idea is generated and the models to apply that idea into action.

I think ideas come to you when you least expect them to. I think some of the best ideas come to people when they are not even looking for an idea. The reason why I think there are so many conception on how an idea is generated is directly related to the diversity that we have in the world of business.

I think there is just so many different entrepreneurs out there that ideas will never stop and will be hard to track and put a chart to it. But I do feel that all ideas when trying to turn them into action all share one thing and that one thing is action.

You need guts to go for it and to start putting together your plan of action. All great ideas in the world needed action to become great.
