The biggest motivational tip that I can give you is that : Start visualizing your success. Keep on bringing the pleasure of achieving your goals into your mind. This will work like a magic. Any motivational book is good if it helps you visualize your own success.

There is actually a 'motivational' section on this forum if you want to check that out as well, but I can recommend Jack Canfields 'The 25 principles of success - how to get from where you are to where you want to be'.

It's a great read. I've worked through it numerous times and still love reading it.

I loved Jack Canfield's 25 Principles of Success. Loved his E + R = O formula, to me that's one of the most powerful things I've learnt.

      E is Event
      R is Response
      O is Outcome

You may not be able to control the event, but you can control the response. The outcome will then be as you want it to be.

  • “The quality of your life is a direct reflection of the expectations of your peer group” - Tony Robbins

“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” - Jim Rohn

Simply put, if you want to succeed surround yourself with people who (a) are succeeding and (b) expect you to do likewise. That little snippet of advice will do more to put one on the path to success than anything else you can learn in a school or university.

I just wish I had learned it MUCH sooner. lol

My other personal fave: "Find something you love to do, and you'll never work a day in your life."

Haven't read that one, but man it is so true. I recently starting spending a lot of time with two mates of mine who run their own businesses, and I really noticed how positive their outlook on life was in general and how they were positive 'get things done' people. It really inspired me and I found I started to think a lot more like them. That whole - "I can do anything I want if I really put my mind to it attitude".

In contrast I started to notice a few negative people I had been hanging out with.

It's a powerful concept. Try it out.

You're talking about "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

Known as one of the best motivational books ever.

      Yes, read it. Many times.

I think you've accidentally conflated two excellent and very popular classics in motivation and self-improvement:

Napoleon Hill, of course, wrote Think and Grow Rich nearly 90 years ago; and the other has the distinction of being THE most frequently stolen book from college and public libraries in the '60s - Dr. David Schwartz's The Magic of Thinking Big - until the publisher caught on to the potential book sales they were losing.

Stop thinking only about helping yourself achieve your goals, and start thinking helping others help you achieve your collective goals.

    Great Book!

Have a clear goal in Mind and don't give up so easily! If you fail at first just keep trying and keep learning along the way.

Also don't start too many projects at once. Keep focus on one at a time!

    Hope it helps

Has anyone read the secret?... What did you think about it? Interesting to read your interpretation?

    visualization skills are definitely powerful...

The Secret goes pretty deep. My simplified interpretation is your thoughts have it's unique wavelength/Energy and the universe will respond to it.

What I mean by the universe responding to your thoughts is opportunites will be revealed and doors will become open for you to step through them.
