Although it is right that it's essential to focus on the small steps, it can be dangerous to say 'stop thinking big', because that is then putting self limiting belief on yourself.

There is nothing wrong with thinking big, as long as it is followed up with small steps to get there.

Like I'll prefer to say it takes the same amount of Energy to think Big and to think small, so why don't you just think Big, if you fail, you'll end up achieving small.

Aim for the stars, if you fail to land on the star(s), you will land on the moon.... I guess I have to create a fresh thread about this issue....

It basically depends upon our ideology. One may love to eat "raw fish" but others might not. Setting big goal or small counts little unless you work hard to achieve it. What do you say?

I feel like want to kill myself now, I am as did you say Traffic-Genie lack of all the crap bad behavour like jumping from one to other task or project. Never get it done right way and from 3 year until now not success came to me.

I know people say success is coming from hard work, dedication, right mind set but I am not practise this formula. I need to keep remind how idiot I am if I want success.

I did come out with some kind solution that I think other people already known this. I write down to a piece of paper and everyday morning,everning, night, I will read it loud to remind my crap behaviour and get my mind focus.

Note: I still struggle like hell now too.

Ease up on yourself. The important thing is you have identified why you are struggling, now you need to accept what you learned and stop beating youself up ovber it. I would strongly suggest considering working with someone who will keep you accountable to yourself and your goal, a coach or mentor, someone who has your best interests at heart. I wouldn't use a friend as they tend to only be committed when its convenient for them. If you would like to shoot me a PM, I would be happy to give you some pointers, that goes for all readers.

Having a partner, coach or mentor is an amazing asset to any entrepreneur. When we try to go it alone it is very difficult to stay motivated. We get into a mindset of working for myself means that I do everything and don't need anyones help. Which couldn't be further from the truth. There are 2 important things to consider in selecting anyone for your team. 1) Does this person have my best interests in mind? to answer this question pay attention to how your body feels when you communicate with them are you tense or relaxed, trusting or guarded, pay attention to your instincts 2) Do they challenge you to be the best or are they just agreeable. When I say "challenge" I don't mean combative, but do they offer constructive thoughts and ideas. Use these guidelines to add a motivator to your team, you will find the journey to success more enjoyable and shorter than you expected.

Thank you for this thread. I really appreciate the reminder to give my goal 100% attention until my goal is accomplished. And I think the key for me is slicing up my BIG DREAM into smaller, achievable tasks, and then see each of those tasks as steps to the mountaintop.

Great Post, your right the hardest thing about Internet Marketing is really just staying on task and getting something done everyday, and hurdling over problems. I don't know and I think I will David Djovik( tennis player) say he have struggle with mental, he added if off court does not work well and it definetely it will shown on on court. I think yeah it same with me, offline no work well and it will shown on online biz. I read it on newspaper and I feel like someone just hit me so badly. That is the same I feel.

Napoleon Hill said it best.. "One of the most common cause of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat"

It is imperative that people stay strong and dont give up after a first few failures in Internet Marketing. I have failed numerous amounts of time, but I always believed I could make it with Faith and dedication.

Its ok to take a few bumps along the road, because there's always a light at the end of a tunnel.

A lot of folks out there lack the mental strength and self-discipline to stay totally focused on a particular objective, the very second or minute they notice an obstacle or challenge along the way, they retreat, give-up completely and start searching for the next easy task, when that supposedly easy task confronts them with another challenge, they give-up again and repeat the cyclical process synonymous with losers.

I agree that it's good to have someone, who is also goal oriented, around to solicit feedback relating to ideas or even be a partner. On the other hand, sometimes you think you have that until that person or persons prove that they do not have the same work ethic and strong desire to succeed.

When that happens, I believe if you can't be surrounded by people who want success as much as you do, it's best to go at alone. It's exhausting and takes a lot of energy to keep reminding others why you must not give up and hang in there. You certainly can't force anyone to support your dreams.

Yes the right mindset and the self-discipline to stay focus to become successful is so important, but most neglect. I disagree with affirmation, so more I had practice affirmation so more I became aware that I didn't have it and I stopped taking action which lead me in the opposite direction than my goal was. I have more results when I look for solution and to find ways to get better results, that triggers my mind to get more results and taking more action.

Wise words,gudrunsmith . Wise words . Disciplines get you to your desired goal . It is like a bridge between where you are and where you want to be . Without the disciplines you are just not going to make it .

If you are willing to accept new disciplines and practise them everyday until you get results then you would change your life completely .

Stop doing and think the way that is not producing results in your life and embrace the new discipline that is going to get you where you are going

Learn how to prioritize and keep an eye on your progress. This is get into staying centered on goals. Identify which effort is important and urgent, because they will be the things you should focus on first.

Tracking how well you're progressing also will give you a good option of that which you already have done, and just how much work and effort you need to give. Using this method, you get things done when they're due, assisting you to improve your a serious amounts of resources.

Great post. I have learned that you need to create a plan or strategy and just focus on those. I break down my plan into daily objectives or tasks, and I don't try and do more than what is on my plan. In internet marketing there are so many scam artists and products that promise overnight success, it makes it difficult to just stick to your guns and your own plan. But trust me if you don't you'll end up highly confused. There's an old saying that I read somewhere " If you stand for nothing, you fall for anything" or something like that. Thanks

  One reason why most people never even get as far as focusing on their goals is because they don't know what they want in the first place.
  
  It's really important to have that burning desire to reach your goal. That way, when you've set the goal, you'll do anything that is necessary in order to reach it and it won't be difficult to focus on what you need to do. It becomes second nature.

When you start to think that you will never reach the end, that is also the time that you start to lose focus on your goal. When that happens, the best thing that you should do is to list the reasons why you are doing so to begin with, by that,you will start to revitalize your interest for the goal and hopefully you gain enough steam to finish the goal.
