I heard a great conversation today and I wanted to share it with my fellow warriors, it went something like this:
If you only had 30 days to live what would you be doing? Are you currently doing it? If not then why not?

The point is none of us are guaranteed anything beyond this moment, yet we constantly put off things that would be beneficial for ourselves and our loved ones. Beyond that we put off the thing that will allow us to leave our mark on the world, the goal that you've had in mind all this time that when it comes to fruition, might just have a huge impact on your fellow man. So in the the words of Tim McGraw, "live like you were dying" and get going on that goal, NOW!

To your Success,
Mike

This is how I try to think daily put yourself in the mindset that if you don't do X now you may never have the chance to. Live life like you were dying is a good mentality towards many things in life. Great post thank you.

although i appreciate the sentiment, you can't possibly live each day like it were your last. there are things i would do if I knew I only had 30 days to live that I would NOT want to do every day now.

I rather like to remind myself to live life like I'm alive. there IS an urgency to life that many people miss and they forget what a special gift just being alive can be.

That's so beautiful man. Life itself is a blessing. If I had 30 days to live, I would probably either a) walk the world or b) go to a recluse area and enjoy the last 30 days with nothing but my thoughts.

  • 30 days , that's all I have. Just do whatever that haven't completed yet. As a matter of fact, just get our family unite together.

There are times wherein I find myself more productive when I work under pressure and there are times wherein its easier to accept failures when you try to instill that you are not in control of everything. aha! 15 days I would pressure myself to try to finish whatever it is that I need to do and 15 days of bargaining and accepting the fact that I cannot do it all! hmmm *thought processing on this coping strategy*

I would concentrate on the most important tasks I had been putting off. But, mostly I would want to visit family members and friends that I haven't seen in a while.

If I had 30 days to live, I would look back and take a day to think of what I wanted to and couldn't do!
