Declare Your Goals Publicly

Hey Folks,

I just started a 30 day challenge that I will be using to give myself an extra push to get to a big goal in my business.

I have found that whenever you make your goals public, you work way harder and become more focused because you know there is that "social pressure" so to speak.

Here is my challenge.. maybe it will give you something to consider if you want to push yourself to a new level

Sounds good! What are you going to do to ensure you take action for all 30 days? Do you have an accountability partner or something like my example with a blog?

Do not only make your goals public, but also put them in writing, as well as Time Activating them, making sure you have allocated the time, energy and resources to accomplish your goals.

    Good point Bryan

With this challenge, I started on June 2nd and 30 days later is July 1st. I know exactly that my goal is 100 new members by July 1. Rather than a vague goal like "increase my business" lol.

Specific and measurable goals always helps

That's interesting because there was a point of view on this I read some time ago of keeping your goals to yourself. I wish I could remember who it was that stated it. The theory was if I remember correctly that subconsciously you were already rewarding yourself by stating your goals to other people and that somehow weakened your resolve - ie. you were rewarded by reaction rather than result.

However, all power to you on achieving your objectives. Anyone who pushes themselves towards better things deserve some positive feedback.

I think when I keep my goals private, I don't really keep them because no one was there to push me. I think I will post a monthly goal video and put my goals on my monthly vision board. I have 2, a dream vision board and monthly one and that helps me stay on track.

Do we ever have goal threads on here? It would be nice to see what other people aim for each week, month or year.

shayn, that is really honest of you to call yourself out like that. Posting the video is a great idea. If you share it here, I'll be sure to watch it and send you my support

Not sure if I noticed a goal thread before. Lots of talk about goal setting but that's a cool idea.
