PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

I just got done reading this and I just HAD to share it with everyone, it is by Mark Cuban (Mavs playing tonight, go Mavericks!) all about his rise from broke to billionaire in a relatively short time.

I guarantee it will be one of the most motivating and inspiring things you'll ever read.

Sometimes I kick myself over and over wondering if I've spent too much of my youth striving for success instead of enjoying myself, wondering if I'll ever truly 'make it' to the point where it's all worthwhile, and reading this let's me know that I am definitely on the right path and that dreams do come true with hard work, persistence, and an awesome attitude.

It was too long for me - I didn't get half way through before I lost interest.

I'm sure it's great though and I'm glad he's doing well and thanks for sharing.

  No, I've never seen him do a video. Most of his posts are business commentary and talking about all the ways that he would run huge businesses better than the owners can, like Youtube and the NBA lol

Cool post on Mark Cuban. I admire him because he built a team that has gone to the playoffs for about 10 straight years, but they have never won the NBA championship. He did everything he could to build up that franchise, and they have a chance to win it this year, despite playing against a team with three superstars -- LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. The Dallas Mavericks just need to win three more games! Hopefully, they'll win tonight's game (8 PM ET/5 PM PT)!

So many awesome parts in that!

Work, work, work and when you get tired, work some more! These crazy people that say, I made three calls - this just doesn't work!

I love it at the end when he points out that everyone said how *lucky* he was to do this or that with his business, but they never talk about how *lucky* he was to have to do all the hard work that got him to that point!

At sometime, all of a sudden, you set your mind to focus. At early morning after going through my emails I noticed your post and followed the link and read the whole article word by word with intense attention.
This happened because last night I made up my mind that I'll read seriously what ever I choose to open on my computer screen whether it'll be long or short, entertaining or boring & inspirational or informative. The key I realized was reading something important with focus and the link of Mark was something which though I clicked hesitantly but once I started reading, it just went on as if I'm reading an entertaining novel. What I came to know after reading all is 'read more about the business or industry you're in; adapt yourself to risk; Invest in business instead of stocks with a wise ratio; get back to work often; network with like minded people to create your own success empire. Thanks for sharing
